soap returnees and re-casts
Is anyone sick to the back teeth of returnees and recasts? Also why are some people obcessed with them on this forum? They should concentrate on the cast they have!

Sometimes it's nice to have old characters back, like for me, Sarah Platt from Corrie. A lot of characters have unfinished business or more that could be built on for their storylines, so it's interesting to have them back. I like the way Eastenders are handling the returns, having them pop in for special occasions, like we would do in reality. It kind of takes away the whole 'fish bowl' sense of soaps where people can't interact with people away from their street/village/square.

The most unsettling for me are recasts on The Archers
