Ok, I know Tracy is hardly the most popular character on corrie, but I'd quite like to give Ken a slap at the moment.

He's shown absolutely no concern for Tracy, only concerned about 'poor peter'. His step daughter was not only jilted at the alter, but her husband to be was outed as a murderer.

I'm not a fan of Tracy by any means, but I think her father (well, the closest thing she has to a father) could have shown a little sympathy towards her. He doesn't seem overly concerned that she's done a runner, probably more concerned incase it damages 'poor Peter's' appeal.

On the contrary, I think Ken's patience with Tracey has been legendary particularly in the face of Tracey's as per 'me, me, me' attitude. As for Ken being interested in Peter being freed who can blame him, whereas Tracey's view seems to be that she'd rather Peter stayed inside and Rob get away with murder

Well his son has been locked up for a crime he didn't commit, obviously he wants him to be free and is worried. Although Tracy has been humiliated, at least she has her freedom and will no doubt move on from the incident.

Absolutely this.
Tracey has put Ken through some shit in her time.

6 and 2 3s really. I think he did show quite a lot of concern in the immediate aftermath - asking the police if she could leave the wedding venue and similar when he could have just been shouting 'I told you so' to all and sundry re his son's innocence. He also made a point of telling Poeter that Tracy hadn't known what rob had done and was also a victim. I mean, is he not supposed to be having meetings with Peter's lawyer and trying to get him released as soon as possible?

But, he could be a little gentler and understanding with her in the privacy of their own home. Also, Amy has lost a father figure so should need a bit of attention.

I was disappointed former teacher Ken didn't kick up too much of a fuss over Amy missing school

Well he did make several comments about it, including the school not being happy but maybe he let it go a bit because he figured they did both need eavh other and really one day isn't the end of the world at that age. A week would be but not one day.

Well Ken's not as far as insensitive as Deirdre has been. Missing her own daughter's funeral is the lowest of the low!

I agree. I think Ken has shown plenty of concern for Tracy. Probably more than she deserves! He is understandably desperate for his son to be released from prison but at the same time, I think he is doing his best to support her. He jumped to the wrong conclusion when she ran off but who can blame him for imagining the worst?
