By default they do.
But they have started to offer an "Extra Speed" add on for £4 a month. Officially this raises the limit to 60Mbps, though i am not sure if that is actually then a cap or if it is just the headline speed they use (EE also use, or at least used to use, 60Mbps as a headline speed for their double speed tariffs). |

Worth pointing out for anyone considering dropping to PAYG and having the £20 add on to get unlimited data, Ive had a text today saying that from the end of the month it will be £25 if you want to continue with unlimited data.
New Add on prices £10 - 100 Minutes, 3000 Texts, Data 1GB £20 - 300 Minutes, 3000 Texts, Data 12GB £25 - 500 Minutes, 3000 Texts, Data All You Can Eat "As you’ve recently purchased the £20 All-in-One 20 Add-on, we thought you should know that the data allowance for this is changing. Don’t worry, you still have all-you-can-eat data on your current Add-on until your 30 days is up. After the 31st March, our new £20 All-in-One 20 Add-on will give you 300 minutes, 3000 texts and 12GB data for up to 30 days. Still more than enough for most big data users, without needing to pay for all-you-can-eat data. And don’t forget that our built-in alerts help you keep track of your usage. Perfect if you love the control and peace of mind you get with an allowance, but with the freedom of Pay As You Go. If you do want all-you-can-eat-data on Pay As You Go, this is still available on our £25 All-in-One 25 Add-on." https://threemicrosites.co.uk/allinone/a Steve |

Looks like Three have just introduced a 30GB sim only and increased the hotspot on new AYCE data tariffs to 30GB.
Quote:
I think the price on the £30 AYCE plans will be increasing soon as they are currently the same as the new 30GB plans if I read the price list correctly.
I have just come to the end of my 24 months One Plan paying £41/month including a 16GB iPhone 5s. I just called up & was offered the 30GB plan (all can be tethered) plus AYCE minutes & texts for £20/month instead of £30/month on a 12 month contract. I couldn't be bothered to haggle or threaten to leave. £20/month is what i am happy paying & I have never used more than 25GB/month even when I moved house & was without broadband for 3 weeks. I am much happier than if I had called last week & only got 12GB tethering allowance even if it was with AYCE data. |

My wife has spent the best part of an hour trying to get her PAC code and still came away without it! I got mine on the phone, but she was first told it takes two hours and later 24 hours.
I got the impression they aren't even processing it and hoping they can try and convince her to stay. She wants rid but doesn't know how to force them to give the code. They kept asking why she wanted to go, and kept putting her on hold to transfer to other departments (yet never the Glasgow team). Total shambles. |

The best deal thus far that Three seemed reluctant to offer was £20/month for AYCE data minutes & texts but that was a week or two ago & thus only with 12GB tethering. £20/month for 30GB tethering & AYCE minutes & texts is better for me as I only ever use large volumes of data when I am tethering & I have never exceeded 25GB but have often been in the teens so 12GB was not an adequate replacement for me for AYCE.

Just got the dreaded letter stating the One Plan is ended and will increase to £30.
Well on phone to them as I type and the offered AYCE data with a 30Gb hotspot allowance, unlimited text messages and 200 minutes. 200 minutes is enough for me so have gone for the deal. I queried about any price increases and was informed that I will pay £20 each month only, apart from any additional use, i.e. picture messages or 0845 calls. They also stated they will place on my account that there is to be no price increases (we'll see) for the 12 month period. |

I have got to the stage now where I want the letter just to get it over and done with and whilst the 30GB hotspot is available, but I also want to let the One Plan run for as long as possible as it's cheap and unlimited hotspot.

I have my PAC after going around in circles with the CS bloke for around 40 minutes. It really isn't good enough. OFCOM needs to put a stop to this. There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to request one online.
I'll see if they call me back. If not, then I might give that BT Mobile 20GB SIM Only a go. I'm disappointed to have missed out on that Vodafone one to be honest. |

I don't know for sure, but believe there's some consolidation of tariffs and deals between EE and BT. Plus it stands to reason that BT/EE benefits from having all users using Wi-Fi calling, VoLTE and 800.
I can't give a date as I don't know, but I did mean to imply sooner rather than later (as in April/May time). But don't sign a contract because of this! The EE deal may only give 16GB but it is full speed, and definitely has Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE + tethering. And that's £19.99 or £16.49 if you have any other EE account. |

I've had a text to say my tariff is changing too, except I am on the Ultimate Internet SIM 200 tariff. Are they ditching people off that too?
Unfortunately my three account address wasn't up to date so I didn't see the letter - only the txt. |

I'm on the same tariff and received the letter today. Currently £12.90 a month, they're offering (in the letter) the exact same tariff (unlim data and texts, 200mins, rolling monthly) for £20 - a 55% increase on what I currently pay. What a disgrace!
Feel at Home is the one thing Three keeps promoting, and AYCE data is another draw - but as time goes on, I think people are seeing how far EE has got with its network, and even how well Vodafone is catching up, and 'seeing the light'. Most damaging for Three, however, is that so many influential people who have probably recommended Three for years (genuinely, not because they're paid to) have been let down and will probably no longer do so - or not so willingly. Without huge advertising budgets, Three relied heavily on advocates. Look at the negative comments on social media now. Everything Three does soon leads to something relating to problems using Feel at Home or a moan about being asked to pay loads more. Yup, it's not just me moaning! |

We won't know how many people left for a while, but I suspect they've lost a fair few customers over this. I know that EE is struggling to cope with orders for the £19.99 16GB plan, and Vodafone was also swamped when it did 20GB for £20 recently (plus the added bits, like Netflix/Spotify etc).

I have been a 3 evangelist for several years, and have recommended numerous others to them, but this attitude has annoyed me so much that I am probably going to use my PAC code and go to the EE £19.99 SIM only plan. Bearing in mind I live in Northern Ireland and frequently make calls from the south or in border areas which currently are in Feel at Home at no extra cost, and which will now cost me extra on EE, should give an indication of my disgruntlement!

Well I'm fed up! After calling them back about being miss-offered an old tariff, without any apologies all the complaints team will say is basically "That's what you were offered - do you want it or not!"

Does the 19.99 plan not list free EU calls and SMS (note: no data) as one of its perks? It might be that your disgruntlement might not cost you as dearly as you might have feared.

Got the letter this morning. Baffled.
This month I've used 109 minutes, 5 texts and 1634 MB, at a cost of £15. So why does Three think the best plan for me is AYCE Minutes, AYCE texts and AYCE Data, at a cost of £30? It would be a complete waste of money and I'd basically be paying £15 extra just to use the very small amount of minutes and texts I use now. Is this just their opening gambit? Is there a sensible plan that I can switch to without losing out? The annoying thing is that I've found Three very reliable and by far the best signal in the areas I go to. |

The plan is: "Extra Plan - double speed 4G 16 GB data Unlimited text messages Unlimited minutes 12 months plan Use your minutes and texts in the EU" But they also have an Extra that you can add! "Euro Talk & Text Unlimited An add-on giving you unlimited calls and texts in Europe for just £2 a day." Surely they are the same? ![]()
