I'm not logged in as a customer and tried from different devices. Even different connections!

I've asked Three if this is a mistake and not heard anything back.

I noticed this yesterday, my work laptop win Win8 shows the drop down selector (1 or 12 month) but only displays 1 x 1month choice. On Firefox the drop down box is missing.

Yesterday it worked properly on Firefox but now it's gone bad again.... I guess they're tinkering with the tariffs.

You have to like the half screen pop up asking if I need help, clicking it reduces the size but it's still there. When I say I like it, I actually mean I want to punch the screen and leave Three. Plus why on earth did they employ the same clueless webdesigner ***** that EE used?

I joined Three as I was fed up with EE but now Three have become bland and uninteresting compared to how they used to be. I guess they had to grow up before trying to buy another network.

It worked fine for me until I cleared all my desktop browser cookies and history. When I reloaded the browser and Three sim only page there are no longer any monthly sim only plans. It still shows monthly sims on the mobile site from my phone...

I noticed someone has asked about this on Three's blog and the response was -

"Our plans can change from time to time so there may have been some amendments made to the plans available on the website. I would recommend contacting our customer service team on 0333 300 3333, as they’ll be able to discuss all the available plans and also look back at your previous usage to ensue whichever allowance of minutes you select will be enough. You can also have a look at your usage history by accessing your My3 account."

When did you say the MBB tariffs were being refreshed? Could well be a mess up by the web team (maybe Three has hired people who worked on the EE site!) as they make changes for that?

But, there's no requirement to offer a 1 month tariff is there? So, if it wasn't a mistake then they're not going to get into any trouble.

Thats just a standard response. They're not removing one month plans.

Clearly just a site issue.

Also, three blog team Know nothing tbh. They get more info from us than they do from their line managers.

Someone want to give 3CS a call to sign up to a one monthbplan and see what they say?

Wondering if anyone here can help.

I got moved from the One Plan onto the AYCE 200 mins plan which includes the 4gb tether allowance for £18 a month as many others did.

This new plan came into place 2 days ago on the 9th, and I've been logging in to my Three account online to see how fast I'm using up the 4gb hotspot allowance as I tether to my laptop quite a lot.

As of yet it's still saying I have the full 4,096mb remaining even though I've been tethering. I noticed that when I've used any call minutes they get deducted instantly from my allowance, so I'm wondering if there's a delay in calculating and updating the data allowance.

Can anyone else tell me if their data usage gets updated instantly when checking your account or is there usually a delay, and in particular has this been affected at all since the new plan changes?

Many thanks

What sort of phone do you have?

With some devices like the iPhone or an Android phone running Android 5.0 or later it will be easier for Three to measure how much data you're using for tethering.

For any other device they will have to use more complex (and less reliable) methods to work it out and that generally works in your favour (so they will understate your usage).

I find that with my Nexus 9 running Android 5.0.1 the Three app/website updates my usage pretty much instantly.

HTC One Mini running Android 4.4.2

I thought there may have just been a delay whilst Three updates their website or something, I noticed they've introduced a new type of bill now.

Have you noticed any change in how fast your data usage updates recently at all?

Three's data tracking updates pretty much straight away.

Here's what you need to know, that 4GB tethering limit you have, you can't be charged for going over it. Once you hit 4GB, that's it, blocked page, no more tethering.

Soooooo...... If your data isn't going down from 4GB when tethering (which does happen sometimes because Three's system, whilst good at detecting tethering isn't 100% fool proof) then that means that Three don't know you're tethering.

Which means you can milk this for as long as you want.... until Three catch on. Then it's back to 4GB limit.

So have fun.

I suspected as much. In fact, there's a lot more I suspect but don't wish to publish on here for obvious reasons!

I wonder if Three are doing some sort of insane A/B testing, presenting different versions of pages to users of different browsers? Nah, that seems too bizarre - I tend to favour the cock-up explanation over the conspiracy.

Whatever's going on, it doesn't inspire confidence in Three that they can't manage to set out their shop window consistently. (I've only looked at the SIM-only plans, gawd knows if the rest of the site is messed up too...)

I wonder how many people are taking advantage of this loophole.

It's probably not enough to make a big impact but I think Three might not be best pleased that some users could still be using their service as an internet replacement?

It's just a thing that happens.

Back when Three were actively blocking tethering, some people ended up getting blocked for no reason despite not tethering.

Where as here we are seeing the opposite with tethering not being detected at all.

It just happens. Some will be affected. The overwhelming majority will not.

Fair enough then.

My One Plan SIM is still active so I am taking anywhere advantage of it as much as possible. Not at all impressed with 4G but 3G speeds are very good and I think good enough for most people.

So are the 1-month sim only deals going to show up on the website anytime soon or have they done away with 1 month sim only deals?

They are on the website? In a fashion at least.

For me (YMMV, as is usually the case on here); Opera shows all 14 sim plans, Chrome shows 6 on PC (14 on Chrome for Android though), while IE and Firefox show 4 each (all 12 monthers). The '7 questions' sim selector offers 1 monthers too.

The one month plans show for me.

Looks like a rejig of prices

The one that catches my eye is the AYCE 300 min at £15 is now gone

Understandably, given the 12 month contract option only provided 200 minutes at the same price.

Topped up the other day on PAYG and got the All in one 15 and I have 2 queued by 300 minutes calls and AYCE data.

"the other day" -as you say yourself.

As of now, looks like that is now gone.

No change has been made whatsoever.

The pay as you go and Pay Monthly price plans have been the same for more than 6 months now.

That's not to say Three won't change the plans in the future but there is literally no change to any price plans at the moment. It's just the website that's ****ed.

No...

Also I think you're confused between PAYG and Pay Monthly.
