A friend of mine who works at Astra Zeneca in Macclesfield tells me that he gets the 20% discount too. He hasn't had the letter from Three yet, but since his one plan is now essentially on borrowed time, he's requesting his PAC tomorrow. It will save them the postage at least.

Worth checking for anybody that wanted to sign up for the Vodafone deal that the company that they work for may give up to 20% with Vodafone (I know the company that I work for does and also the NHS).

Also I believe it's for friends and family as well, so if you know anybody that works at one of these companies.

Just found a list of the companies online (although it's from July 2012, but I recon a lot of them remain):
My (large) former employer isn't on that list (and they definitely were on Vodafone / had discounts in 2012) so it's not exhaustive. I was eligible for a companypaid for service (even for personal use) due to my role at the time, but I didn't go for it because the network is crap

You can't claim the 20% discount on already discounted deals. I asked a few months ago when they had £10 off their 20Gb plan.
If anyone has got the discount I'd be interested to hear.

And £78.75 Cashback available via Top Cashback, assuming its not Store only.

Blows the EE 'deal' out of the water ( provided you have Vodafone 3G / 4G in your area)
Hey would you be so kind how you found £78.75 cash back available. Does it take into account it was £40 per month and now discounted? Do you click on this link and submit the £27 plus link that shows £78.75 cos disconnected by £20?

I have never used a cash back before just wondering if click on the £78.75 link and get directed to vodophone link via top link I then later get the discount.

Never used a cash link site before.

I rang up three and told them bout this deal still only offered me £20 per month and 200 mins.

Thanks for any help re cash back offers.

I have signed up top cash but don't know what happens if I purchase the vodaphone £20 deal.

You needed to be referred to customer relations to get any discounts, but the Vodafone deal is amazing. It's like a tenner a month if you had Spotify or one of the other services anyway.

And with 80 odd quid cash back on offer...
I'm obviously going about it all wrong trying to get the £17 or £20 offers with Three Jon, how do I get transferred to customer relations? I'd still like to remain a Three customer even though so have signed up to Vodafone.

The vodophone deal is now on the website.

They offered me one month free when I called them. They said unlike unnamed mob operator they don't slow up their speeds after 6 o clock.

3 told me vodophone slow down their speeds after 6 clock.

They said they the only network allowed to have unlimited data when I said vodaphone offering it for 2 months.

Vodaphone told me 3 have bought 02 network.

When in the cashback site use its search facility to go to Vodafone. Use its website as normal and order the £20 sim or other deal wanted. Once the order has been confirmed you'll see the amount earned in your cashback user account settings. This will be payable to you after a few months, usually.

That's correct, for the £20 sim you'd get £50.50 cashback.

Just ask for your PAC code or say you're not happy. Customer relations is essentially for complaints, and they can give discounts and negotiate.

You won't get 20% off the £20.

There is so much wrong information in this post.

3 told me vodophone slow down their speeds after 6 clock.
No, not at all.

Vodaphone told me 3 have bought 02 network
No they haven't.

This is the correct information.

You physically cannot double discount a plan. You can only have one discount at a time.

Three would probably tell you that Vodafone will irradiate your testicles ( irrespective of your gender) especially if the reports on here about the illegal one plan are true.

The only downside to Vodafone is the poor data coverage, they have 2G in areas where I cant get a three signal ( and as a result i have a vodafone payg sim ) but slow or no data.
Also when on Vodafone it seems to take a while to switch from 2G and pick up a 3g signal

It was on Top Cashback yesterday just a few minutes before I posted. Looks like they changed it later in the day to deliberately exclude the £20 Sim Only deal.

It now reads as "12 Month SIM Only: £17 & £22 a month - £78.75"

Yesterday it read "12 Month SIM Only: £20+ a month - £78.75"

I guess they changed it when the £20 offer went live on their website. So it looks like there is no discount or cashback with this offer, still a very good deal as it sits, if you have the coverage.

For that vodafone deal, is there any reason why the sim couldn't be used in a MiFI device? £10 a month (effectively - as I currently pay £10 a month for google play music and am happy to switch to spotify) for 20GB mobile broadband is a pretty good deal (and will be brilliant when I am at my parents who now are covered by Vodafone 4G but can only get 0.5Mbps on their ADSL line).

Vodafone deal for 20GB on Mobiles.co.uk is working out at £10 per month (£120 cash back via redemption) has anyone had any problems claiming this from Mobiles.co.uk in the past? Aren't they part of Dixons Carphone?

I'm very tempted as we have Netflix too so that would then take it down to £2.50 a month essential cost over 12 months, crazy deal!

It should work. Tethering is allowed. You should even have no problem using it abroad and just being charged £3/£5 automatically for every day you use it.

The problem might be how you limit usage (does your MiFi allow you to set a limit?) as if you go beyond 20GB then you'll pay a fairly high per-MB charge. As far as I am aware, there's no hard cap like EE.

How do you see the cash back deal? No mention of it on the site that I can see (but I can see the page about how to claim later via a Google search).

A shame, but not totally surprising. I am sure Vodafone is going to be signing up LOADS of people between now and March 3rd.

Question is, will Vodafone be seeking to move people off the discounted plan in 12 months time like Three? Will we all get letters saying 'We're going to move you to the equivalent £40* a month plan'??!

* or whatever it is by then.

Anyone know when the £20 offer ends?... Live chat wouldn't tell me saying it was 'sensitive' information.
