I hadn't been sent a letter, but decided I would call three a couple of days ago to request my pac. Today I got a phone call and was offered the above package straight away without even having to ask for it.
Looks like these deals from BT and Vodafone are now working in our advantage, and three are now being forced to offer discounts.”
That’s the problem when three have now increased their contract prices significantly where rival operators normal contract prices such as BT’s, EE’s and vodafone’s are suddenly within range of three’s new contract prices that they can now comfortably make a lower price offer than three to three customers outwith their minimum term that they can still make big profits anyway if they gain your business from three.
Maybe three should have increased the 12.90 and 15 quid legacy contract prices to 20 quid instead of 30. 30 quid was a rise to steep to keep their existing customers without being forced into making a huge discount down to2 20 quid to do so.
Full market price in the future to pay for AYCE data is just a no go for most mobile phone/sim only contract customers.
