Yesterday episode got 6.6 million viewers compared to last year 7.4. It should be hitting around like 7.5-8 million viewers at this time of year. Why is the ratings so bad atm and does anyone think eastenders can reach over 9 or 10 million viewers during christmas and anniversary? Feel free to comment

I don't think 6.6m is bad. Look at any programme, the viewership has gone down on television as a whole due to the use of iPlayer and YouTube so it's natural to see EastEnders dipping. It's audience share you should be looking at if you want accurate comparison.

It is bad imo because when it is winter that when eastenders are getting 7.5-9 million but is hitting around like 6 million on november. it makes me wonder what it is going to get in christmas episode and anniversary.

Around this time last year it was the aftermath of Michael's murder so maybe that's why?
