Taylor Swift tour tickets tomorrow

Does anyone think more dates will be added? I might get tickets for the Glasgow one but I'm unsure if another date could be added later on. Also another thing that surprised me was for the Hydro especially, the only standing tickets are for VIPs, the rest is seated. Has anyone been to a concert before where most of the floor seats are seated? Aren't you confined to just one spot lol. And the prices aren't cheap either and then there is 2 stages.

I would be surprised if more dates weren't added. Normally with big names they book a venue for more than one night though release one night of tickets and then announce another date at the same venue shortly after the first night's sold out.

Hope you manage to get tickets. If you don't manage it keep checking back nearer the time because tickets often become available.

Whats bothering me is the money. In a way im glad its seated because the Hydro is shaped like a bowl. Really any seat on the floor would do but on the other hand i was hoping another date would be added but tickets going on sale later down the line.

Then again I'm sure I could pick up a ticket next year on the floor no problem. I don't know what the demand will be, I know it's her first time in Glasgow and I want a good seat, i'm surprised that seated tickets are so expensive whereas in the past a modest standing ticket would have sufficed and getting there early enough would get me a good place. I don't know what to do for the best here.

What a load of BS. No tickets at all on any site for Glasgow. If the touts had bought them all the presale they should have said.

Many of us are complaining on Twitter at the lack of Glasgow tickets. I'm sure there is plenty in England though.

Come on! Stop being so melodramatic. This is nothing to do with touts and is nothing to do with England. The tickets sold really quickly in presale too. It really annoys me when folk say "the touts got them all!" No, it just so happens that Taylor Swift is one of the biggest popstars in the world just now. Her tickets would've sold out pretty quickly regardless of whatever arena she's playing. Manchester sold out quickly too. The only reason that London won't sell out is that it's in Hyde Park (which can hold what EIGHT nights at The Hydro could!). It's silly little comments like that which cause division between Scots and the English. It's a horrible attitude to have.

You didn't get tickets, keep looking elsewhere but don't blame other people.

I've been to a lot of shows where all the seats are seated. weird eh?

21 June Amsterdam, The Netherlands Ziggo Dome
23 June Glasgow, UK The SSE Hydro
24 June Manchester, UK Arena
27 June London, UK British Summertime Hyde Park
6 July Ottawa, ON Canadian Tire Centre

with those dates, a day is required to move gear and band from Amsterdam to Glasgow, and the next day they move down to Manchester, and a day break to move to Manchester and setup a huge outdoor gig, then go to Canada, so there's no hope in hell of another Glasgow gig. at best a second manc gig

with seats you usually have to stick to your space. security will often tell you to get back to your space if you move to isles etc "for health and safety" reasons. I'm surprised her show is mostly seated, that's unusual for that type of venue. George Michael had all seating at the SECC for the symphonica show but that was more of a sit down show. understandable if it's an unplugged type thing but she seems to be going in a pop direction now. perhaps they think it will bring a younger audience and seating is a way to keep younger folk in check. the stage does extend a fair bit

interestingly Manchester has standing and that has a miles bigger floor area than the hydro, but TM doesn't show a floor chart. you could always go to Manchester instead of Glasgow, it's not that far on the train

I refuse to believe all tickets sold out this week. I know yesterday tickets for the Hydro were on Ebay for £200+ but I assumed it was only fanclub members that had access to the presale code, I'll need to start paying more attention to these presale code things.

Fortunately Glasgow is full of people that live above their means so no doubt I will get a floor seat nearer the time.

When you buy tickets for a gig months and months and months in advance when do you normally receive tickets?

it's pretty common that popular shows sell out in minutes. she's one of the most popular and biggest selling artists at the moment, with only a tiny number of uk shows announced next year, and presumably your a fan and know how popular she is, so why would you think she couldn't sell those shows out in a week?

presales are so common these days it's a farce. if you have amex, visa, o2, vodaphone or tesco clubcard you can get presales. the sponsors of the hydro do presales too. so one person can have invites to multiple presales

it just depends, sometimes tickets are delayed on purpose until a week or month before showtime to reduce touting. at times i've literally got tickets in the morning i had to travel to shows

Presale links are rediculously easy to get these days. I got a link just because I follow Barclaycard on Facebook and I can't stand her or that type of music.

Firstly, sign up to the mailing list on their website
secondly, like websites like ticketmaster and seetickets on Facebook or twitter
thirdly like local concert venues on facebook or twitter
Finally, like any credit cards, bank accounts etc you (or your parents if you are not old enough to have one) on Facebook or twitter.

If you can't get a presale link you only have yourself to blame!

Oh of course. it's my fault for not having access to a presale code, it seats what? 13,000? And then I'm guessing a few more thousand on the floor. Silly me for thinking there might have been some on the day in the general sale and I refuse to sit high up in the tiers. If i'm paying that kind of money for a 90 minute concert I expect to be on the floor and see the singer.

I'm thinking it was a good thing that happened. It was just never gonna happen for me and according to Twitter many others are angry despite being online at 9.30am. There's no point in me being bitter because I never stood a chance.

sheesh, calm down. I wasn't saying it was your fault for not getting tickets, but that you can't complain about not having a pre-sale code when there seemed to be so many links available. I even gave you some tips for the future!

Here is the presale for Hyde Park that popped up on my twitter feed today!

Also, if you think you had a good chance without presale of getting a floor ticket or a decent ticket you were always going to be disappointed!

they don't normally put all tickets on sale in the presale, it's usually allocated blocks of tickets for each presale, and on the normal sale day the rest go on sale. so you had the same chance as everyone else on friday to get a ticket, however not everyone is going to be able to get a ticket and get the location they want for a popular event

I couldn't help but check all the sites again and of course the only places selling tickets are reselling sites and i can't help but laugh at the shittest seats possible in the third tier going for over £300 on some of them.

Living in Glasgow all my life I can assure them, no Scottish person is gonna pay that kind of money to sit that far back. It's like everything else, I think the fact that there are so many tickets for sale all over the internet shows that many people got them thinking they could make a profit on them. I'm on over 30 Facebook Scottish selling pages. Either that on Gumtree the week of the show I'll get tickets. No offence to any other Scottish people out there, but Scottish people are miserable bastards, it would need to be someone English or Welsh that paid hundreds of pounds for a ticket to a concert. Ain't no way anyone here is paying that.

Are you still whinging about this? You didn't get tickets get over it!

As for the £300 tickets, if that is too much they won't sell and the price will come down. Simple economics.

And I'm not all Scots are as tight as you seem to make out!

You are one of the most bitter people I've ever come across on here. The reason you didn't get tickets is because Taylor Swift is one of the biggest acts in the world right now. There is no conspiracy against you, this is nothing about "tight" Scottish people (a slightly racist comment if you ask me, a fellow Scot!), this is nothing about touts and this is nothing about England being better or worse than Scotland (which you bizarrely tried to blame it on earlier in the thread). You didn't get tickets. Get over it. Your posts are beyond embarrassing. I don't know what you're hoping to achieve by ranting. You didn't get tickets and I'm sorry about that. But don't go trying to place the blame on anyone and everyone.

It's worth noting that more tickets often become available closer to to the concert date so keep checking back.

Oh, this is tame for good old hazy! Wait until he REALLY gets ranting
