Confirmed that

Dark Water is bbfc 12 for 'theme of death, mild violence, threat'
Death in Heaven is bbfc PG for 'mild violence, threat'

Presumably Worldwide were expecting a PG for Dark Water. They forgot about the theme of death!

How come Death in Heaven isn't also a 12? It also has the theme of death - it's right there in the episode title!

So the Doctor being shot wasn't originally shown?

Also, while we are on the subject of the S8 Boxset, gonna be picking mine up next week in my local HMV. It's my birthday a few days before Christmas, and my parents have said that I can have it as an early present! Yay!!

The 66 seconds cut from the UK broadcast/VHS of the 1996 film were-
