No. I quite like him. He is entertaining.

I like a bit of car crash TV.

I'm not sure if one candidate will drive that many viewers away. And although a major irritant, James is a source of entertainment/drama. I must admit, I found his "On the left you'll see a Caffe Nero" joke quite funny - if only it wasn't indicative of the entire tour!

He is the cocky young man that Sugar can't find it in himself to fire because he reminds him of himself and all that. There is always one in every series and i am sure the producers put one in on purpose just to annoy us. Incredibly frustrating and tedious as i'm sure we will lose a few better candidates instead

He's a bit of a wide boy but I find him charmless and grating - a cheap as chips type who just doesn't 'get it' most of the time.

He'll last a bit longer and then LS will get shot of him. I don't think LS sees the ninny as a vision of himself years ago, James has just made that up as a bit of PR for himself.

I think it will be painful watching him crash and burn, but will be car crash telly at its best.

I think the opposite. To me he is the most entertaining one in the house, simply because he is the 'love to hate' person at the moment.

I find myself rooting for him because regardless of what you think of him based on stuff from outside of the show, and maybe you are just annoyed by his 'outgoing' attitude, but he has continuously shown that he's one of the best sellers and thinkers during the process.

And that is what he should be judged on.

I like him too

he's the only entertaining candidate left imo

If people were really that turned off by annoying candidates, Series 4 would have probably gotten the show cancelled. In reality, it did pretty much the opposite.

He's certainly not one of the strongest.

He may have sold well in Task 1, but he kept interrupting Mark's pitch. In Week2 he h=came up with that terrible jumper, which killed them from the task. In Week 3, he showed NO initiative in what he sold the candles for - yes Roisin lacked some direction, but she gave some, yet James ignored it and went extremely low. Then in Weeks 4 and 5 he had to play/was being an idiot which is hardly difficult for anyone.

So basically I totally disagree.

Surely if he was a thinker he'd have listened when told he was asking for a ridiculous discount. Even less of his time was spent thinking ... will I get away with it ... he tried it twice and still failed.

He thinks he is better than he is.

Task 2 - He was the only one to come up with an idea except Solomon's socks, i believe? Not his fault the entire team got behind it.

Task 3 - He showed plenty of initiative and that's why he sold not only the most for the team, but made sure that every candle was sold for his team. Roisin actually said before the sub-team were sent off to the market store to 'Work out prices on your own'. He unquestionably sold the most.

Did you forget that even in Task 5 he was the only one to sell all the added items.

Although the debate in invalid because you can spin it however you like when you're organising a hate campaign against somebody.

Week 2: Actually no, Scott also had an idea, and others could have also have had ideas that didn't make the edit.

Week 3: James could definitely have sold for higher prices I think, and ultimately they did lose because the margins weren't great enough.

I don't know what you're saying about me 'spinning' something. I'm speaking factually, it seems that you can't take someone having a different opinion, leading you to saying that my opinion is 'invalid'...

The more I think about it, James singing 'One man went to mow' and 'The wheels of the bus' tell you a lot about him.

He didn't think the tourists might be classier than him, and wouldn't appreciate such behaviour. It was probably a cleaner version of the sort of sing song he would have on a coach load of football fans.

It's kind of, 'This my level- and you are coming down (several levels) to join me'.

Not a fan, felt he was overly aggressive towards Jemma on the last task and that he has little to no business acumen.

James is ruining the show for me.

Far to much time is devoted to his obnoxious behaviour, and it's reached the point where I have to turn off the sound when he's in full flow.

I dont think anyone would stop watching the apprentice because of 1 person they didnt like.

The show would be dull without the characters and we know it.

I thought he was out of order last night with Bianca and when he was going off on his rant about her exclusivity deal but I wouldn't switch off over it.

Steven however after the first task really made me question whether I could hack a series with him.

I think the edit left it ambiguous. No question James can get very aggressive when challenged, but Bianca is a pretty forceful character herself and we don't know how much she had been chipping away at James during the day. Certainly it gave the appearance that she might have been muscling in and undermining him. I called it as a case of faults on both sides.

Ultimately, though, she didn't have a leg to stand on after her exclusivity gaffe. Had Summit lost, there is no question in my mind that she would have been fired, especially after her negotiating error last week.

I don't understand why he's still there. He lacks any charm. He's a wide boy and quite thick. There's always a few candidates who aren't very intelligent, but I can't even see any street smarts or instinctive savvy.

I mean his selling style is uncouth, he can only sell at discounted rates, he's not a good leader (he was an autocrat last night), he's aggressive, he's unprofessional, he doesn't come up with great ideas, and he talks over people. That postcode discount is the only useful thing he's done at all.

Mostly he's a liability.

He is a liability, but while he does love to make a deal at least he does deliver - which is more than Daniel has managed so far. (I mean, that jumper pitch on task 2 ...)

He wasn't particularly pleasant last night, but he did deserve credit for leading the team to a convincing victory.

And he is a closer. When he's allowed to focus on sales rather than profit and told to shift gear, he can be quite good. But he's definitely an autocratic leader and he's definitely not a follower.

(Incidentally, Solomon has been quietly impressive selling on many tasks too - how he swung that deal with Waterstones after the exclusivity fiasco, I have no idea.)

Not quite yet, he's dodged so many bullets, I think not only will he be out the next time his team loses, but probably will be next week's surprise firing. Lord Sugar can't stand the bloke! Bet Dara dates him down a peg too!
