I read that she will be off this saturday, but it did not mention any other weeks. Hopefully her daughter will be feeling better soon.

Zoe said on ITT she will be presenting with Tess.
Hope Claud and kid are doing all right.

So we need a new temporary name for the Clauditorium, perhaps The ZOnE?

Thanks Strictly, Milly for replying .

I feel it should still be The Clauditorium otherwise it looks like we are getting rid of Claudia. The Zone is a great name though.

I've seen "The Ball-cony" suggested elsewhere, too.

I prefer the Ballcony. Though Lazy Susan might be right about not changing...

The Ball Pit? Though that's quite close to the Tess Pit.

It has been quoted in many newspapers that the BBC have given Claudia 'as much time as she needs', hopefully she will be back at some stage but her priorities are obviously somewhere else and I think she may not be back for the rest of the series.

I don't think anyone would be able to recover that quickly from the horror her daughter went, and is still going, through. tbh I couldn't bear to watch Claudia having to mug her way through SCD, knowing what happened.

My original thought was "Ballroom" but I like "Ballcony" better. It is a nice place for the celebs to hang out and cheer on their fellow celebs while leaning over the Ballustrade.

There are some sick trolls around targeting her on twitter according to one newspaper. Why do people say things like that.

It's awful, but whenever there's an outpouring of support or sympathy for anyone, it's as if some people can't stand it and there's always a strange and twisted reaction to the attention they're getting. Just this morning, I read Robin Williams' wife left twitter the day after for the same reason.

I doubt she'll be back this series. Isn't it a sad state of affairs when we are no longer surprised about trolls? Appalled by them but expect them.

It has been reported that she has indefinite leave from SCD. Quite right too! She has much more important things to think about than a TV entertainment show. I just hope her daughter recovers fully.

Just think how many on here rubbed their hands with glee when it was announced that Zoe was standing in for Claudia - they're trolls. They didn't know what had happened but made assumptions based on their prejudice against her and could gloat and show how nasty they are while hiding behind a screen name.

It's OK to criticise someone's performance, but to make nasty personal comments like calling her a hunchback says more about the person making the comment than it does about Claudia. Saying Bruce should retire and why he should isn't the same as calling someone nasty names or being threatening.

The DS trolls aren't usually as bad as those who made Robin Williams wife quit Twitter, and fortunately there are now laws regarding offensive and threatening comments made on line, but its just a shame that they think freedom of speech means they can say anything they like no matter how sick or offensive.

Hope Matilda is feeling much better and makes a full recovery soon, so Claudia can get her life back to normal and return to Strictly.

It was his daughter that left Twitter. She got some extremely cruel tweets.

It could be the Ball Pool too but the Ball-cony is a good one I think!
