Yeah, great story. When Smith was cast, Moffat gave him 1 DVD from each Doctor, and this is the story that sold him on Troughton and informed both his performance and his costume.

Superb plot, excellent characters, great dialogue, cybermen very good with a good threat level, touches of humour. An example of a top black and white Doctor Who story, so yes I agree with the OP, don't miss it if you haven't seen it.
