Craig Charles and Nadia Forde have become the latest celebrity contestants confirmed for I’m A Celebrity 2014.



The pair were both spotted in Australia yesterday after they arrived to begin the new series, which starts this Sunday night.

Actor and telly presenter Craig is already known to most ITV viewers as Coronation Street’s Lloyd Mullaney.

He had to get special permission from the soap’s producers to take part in I’m A Celeb this month.

“I signed up because it’s an adventure, isn’t it?” he said today.

He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “It’s an ITV show, Coronation Street is an ITV show, they talked and said ‘get him in there’.

“It’s the one they all want to do, it’s the one all families sit down to watch.”



He added: “Obviously, I will miss my wife and kids, miss the football, and reading and. writing, you can’t read in there. That will be difficult I suppose.”

Also arriving down under this week was Irish model Nadia Forde.

“I am a big fan of the show and I’m happy to be in Australia and love the sunshine,” the 25-year-old said. “I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead and yes I’ve packed lots of bikinis!”

Other stars rumoured to be entering the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2014 jungle include TOWIE’s Gemma Collins, X Factor’s Jake Quickenden, rapper Tinchy Stryder and TV presenter Melanie Sykes.

I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2014 starts November 16 on ITV.

With all the rumours I've been really excited for the revealed line up but looking at this it looks like the worst cast they've ever had. Not one stand out A lister. CBB does better then this and surely ITV must have a bigger budget?

Not so much of an A list, no - but it looks like there are some good personalities, as opposed to "Personalities" as in well-known people.
I didn't know who Jimmy Bullard was, but am really looking forward to seeing him in the jungle having read about him on here!

I still can't believe that Jake Quickenden was a) asked and b) doing it in such a quick turnaround after the X Factor.
Such a bizarre choice, he's still tweeting about music meetings this week so doesn't seem to be flying out imminently so surely he's a late arrival at best?

Yeah I don't think Jake can be true, surely he is signed to an X Factor contract so he can't do other shows.

I dont think jake is likely i would of thought max/aston are more likely late comers

Max as in Max George of the Wanted? He's even less likely than Quickenden after bagging a plum part in Glee's final season and is currently filming it in America.

Still doubt Quickenden though!

I can't believe that Gemma collins has gone in, I really don't get the infatuation that itv seems to have with her. From loose women to get me out of here now.

Not a nice woman by all accounts.

My niece ventured to Essex a few months back and met arg tom and a couple of others as well as Gemma and she was very stand offish and rude.......apparently.

Jimmy bullard will be great and a potential winner. Anyone who doesn't know him or of him only needs to YouTube his interviews and matches etc.
