A non runner ( without a reserve ) will go onto number 1 ( or lowest numbered ). If 2 non runners you will get the highest and lowest numbered.
Obviously you can post a reserve as some do or, as others have also done, you can PM me with your ruling for the season ( eg always number 3 or 3rd fav etc ) and that means you never have to worry
