Are we getting our categories now?

And so, with Jade advancing to boot camp, we end the show on a high. It's been a fun two shows, but playtime is over now.

Please allow me to sum up tonight's show for you. Here are the acts definitely through to boot camp:

Boys: Judah Kelly, Frankie Cocozza, Casey Johnson, John Wilding, Tom Mann, Adil Memon
Girls: Vendulka Wichta, Sarah Main, Valencia Fesolai, Chloe Papandrea, Sharon Rose, Jade Collins
Over 25s: Johnny Robinson, Raign Rabin, Kye Sones, Andrea Magee, Cleo Howman
Groups: JTR, Hype, Paris Inc., Times Red, Tenors Of Rock, Sina & Soni

And perhaps these acts (if they get a yes from Nathan):
Jake Sims, Georgina Mastin and Stephanie Nala

Again, which category would you love to get?

No, you'll be assigned your categories after boot camp. I'll explain the boot camp part soon.

It's now shaping up to be a strong list of acts and I have my favourites on who I'd love to see go far.

Is there an over missing from that list - wasn't there a female black Over from X factor US that went through in show 1?

EDIT - its ok the act I was thinking off only got 2 Yes'

All right. Judges, there's two things I'd like to share with you.

One of these things is a little twist I've cooked up for you. Once Nathan sends me his verdicts, I will post a list of all the acts that got 2 yeses.

At this moment, these include:
Boys: Harry Targett
Girls: Hannah Sheares
Over 25s: Lorie Moore, Geoff Mull
Groups: Duplex

And any acts that end up with 2 yeses after Nathan's vote. As I mentioned earlier, the Project Stars journey isn't over for a few of them. To be precise, the public will be able to pick FOUR wildcard acts (categories don't matter) who will each get a lifeline and compete alongside the other members of their respective categories at boot camp. Isn't that neat?

Like that idea.

Secondly, we have a boot camp show to plan. Before we pin down a date, please allow me to explain what's going to happen.

Each category will have to be whittled down to just 5 acts each. If there's more than that number in a category, certain acts will have to be axed by the judges. Each act will perform one song again (preferably a second performance if I can find one, otherwise it's their audition again) to refresh the judges' minds. Once all acts in a particular category have performed, the judges will have work together to select 5 acts.

Each of them has one 'chair' per category they can fill with the one act they think NEEDS to make it through to judges' houses - sort of like the Golden Buzzer from BGT. Four acts will advance in this manner, while the fifth will be decided by a jury vote. This procedure will then repeat itself for the next category until there's 5 acts in each one, at which point the judges will be allocated their categories.

With that out of the way, what do you think would be a good day for this?

That is a fabulous twist!

Ah ok, so if i'm reading this right, we get to have a hand in picking someone to go to the next stage in each category - nice idea

I'm happy any day Tuesday - Thursday

Ohhh, I love the bootcamp idea.

Wednesday/Tuesday would be good days for me.

Nathan said he wouldn't really have time to attend shows until Tuesday, so I guess we'll go with Wednesday. We'll start at 6:15 PM, and please try not to be late this time.

I'll try to get the list to all of you by Tuesday evening in the event that you can't make the show. That would be all for now, at least until Nathan sends me his verdicts. Once he's done that, I'll post the complete list of boot camp acts and open the wild card vote (which judges can participate in as well!).

Also, I'm just going to be a little tease here and reveal that at least one of you has the category they desire.

It's so obvious what category you have given me.

What happened to sending me your verdicts in the afternoon?

I know you're preoccupied with a personal situation, but I really need those verdicts as soon as possible if we are to have the boot camp show on Wednesday.
