Who are you going to vote for if Judy leaves this week?
Pixie as she gets picked on for no reason imo.

Yes I'm a bit like some others in liking having Judy around, but not yet being tempted to vote for her, altough I have no issue at all with those who have or now intend to.

Just get a bit better, Judy, and I could be persuaded.

I have most often voted for Pixie, I generally just really like seeing her dance. Yes, Judy and Pixie may be at different ends in the dance ability stakes, but they each add to my enjoyment.

Folk liking Judy and Pixie - nice thread

I've no problem with Judy as a person - see seems really nice - and, so far most of the departing celebs have been fairly 'disposable', but I think it's now reached the point that I wouldn't like to see her progress at the expense of someone who has a decent chance of winning the competition. I know that it's an entertainment programme rather than a real dancing competition, but I would like to see something more than simply walking round roughly in time to the music from her.

I like Judy and Pixie.....in fact there are non that I don't like this year so far I have not yet voted. I think my absolute fave would be Steve this year though I dont really mind enough who wins as they are all likeable and with the exception of Judy they are all able. Judy makes up for her lack of dance talent with personality and enthusiasm for the show. I think as they are all fairly likeable I will likely judge them on whether or not I like the pro's.....I dont care much for Janette or Kevin and I have an irrational dislike of Karen so they can go next imo.

I'm loving watching Judy - it's just such a joy to see her having such a great time and the way she deals with the judges and everything is truly admirable. I don't normally like Anton much but I'm even liking him this time too, because of the Judy effect

Apart from Thom, I agree with you on this.

But it is a dance show but with not as many rules.

I will certainly be voting to keep her in from now onwards.

I love the way she attempts to make the most of her almost non-existent musicality. Her beaming smile deflects the nasty, personal comments aimed at her from the harpies on the panel and she and Anton are clearly having a ball.

This is what Saturday Night Light Entertainment is all about
Did you enjoy any of the other dances ?

Hear hear. I have to admit I was pretty outraged when Judy was announced as a contestant, but I love her! Her smile and game attitude is so infectious

I agree. I love Mrs. Murray, I think she is a splendid lady and her partnership with Anton has been such a lot of fun. Her ability to make light of it all and just have FUN has been so refreshing. I hope Judy can make it through Blackpool - would be wonderful to see her do one last Latin number. But I do feel she will and should leave in the next two to three weeks, with perhaps one or two of Simon, Caroline, Sunetra or Steve leaving before her. I would not expect to see Mark, Pixie, Jake or Frankie leave any time soon.

I bet it melts in the mouth

Perhaps her mother doesn't want to market the shortbread!

How about no? I'm sure she is very nice but now really good dancers are at risk of being chopped if she stays in (oh and we also lost one previously- Thom- who actually WAS making progress!) Hope she goes and actually decent dancers have a chance of progressing.

What do you mean "How about no"? There are plenty of threads slating Judy, that's the whole point of this one. To redress the balance.

Vote for Judy

How about respecting the fact that people have a choice about who they vote for and no one is under any obligation to vote for the better dancers. People vote for whoever they enjoy most. If better dancers aren't pulling in the votes to stay in a popularity competition then that's just tough - get over it.

I do understand your point of view. Personally although I was sad to see Thom go out so early (too early) I feel no guilt over it as I had voted for him, sadly not enough other people did.

That is what it amounts to - vote for your favourite, if more people vote for the others than Judy then she will go out. Once in a dance off she will be well aware it will be her turn to go. It will be a shame (imo) but that is the way it works. We all have free choice who we vote for, Judy will continue to get one of mine.

As others have said Pixie is also rapidly becoming one of my favourites, I havn't felt the need to vote for her yet as I am sure she is safe - but that is one of the problems ( and maybe why Thom went out early) if too many people think someone is safe and vote for others they can end up in the bottom two.

We all have three free votes - although a woman at work says she has 6 because she has registered twice (?) - anyway use your votes, that is the only way to keep your favourites out of the DO.

Judy's brilliant. A one off.

A sports woman with no athleticism whatsoever. Brilliant paradox.

Apparently, she was pulled over at Heathrow recently. The customs' officers were suspicious of her stiff walking gait. They assumed she was concealing something.

When the officer gave her a thorough body search, she screamed out as she inadvertently got a splinter from Judy's wooden torso

I'd love to see her star in one of those cheesy American sitcoms. Of course it would be called:

Judy (no, not Judge Judy)

Judy is queen of tennis and fighting a losing battle to get Brits (apart from her son) into the top 50 but she's a trier, loves to dance (even though she isn't very good) and visit out of the way places in Scotland where she frequently solves a murder or puts right a wrong. She's a country girl at heart. She has just launched her biscuit company and is hoping to find romance again. Her sons pop in and out of the show as does Anton du Beke - a potential squeeze. Her ex is in the background and loves to cause trouble as does Sue Barker for some yet to be determined reason.

Will Judy find true love? Will her biscuit company conquer the world? Will she ever learn to dance? Will she have to fight for her life in a sea cave on Skye?

Brilliant post Holly.

Or...

What about Judy and Anton Du Beke moving in as a new couple in EastEnders?

Then, behind Anton's back, Judy has a fling with Ian Beale

Anton finds out and all hell is let loose. Anton's asks Judy, why she's never agreed to marry him? She replies, i'm too stiff, you'd never be able to carry me across the threshold

Think that would bump up EE's viewers
