No smiles from Anton or Judy at the tennis tonight. Judy looks as though she enjoys dancing much more than tennis!

She's a country girl at heart. She has just launched her biscuit company and is hoping to find romance again. Her sons pop in and out of the show as does Anton du Beke - a potential squeeze. Her ex is in the background and loves to cause trouble as does Sue Barker for some yet to be determined reason.

Will Judy find true love? Will her biscuit company conquer the world? Will she ever learn to dance? Will she have to fight for her life in a sea cave on Skye?”

nomination my dear for post of the day

I reckon lots of people expected to "hate" Judy and have been very surprised at what's she's like away from the fist pumping family/coach enclosure of a tennis court

She'll be picking up a lot of votes for that rather than the quality of her jigging imho <voteforyourfavourite>

That's what has captured me - her attitude and demeanour especially when brick bats are raining down on her from the panel. Poor Scott sometimes looked crushed even though he tried to hide it but Judy just lights up the dance floor with her gorgeous smile and she always looks so elegant, too.

I hope she stays like this and never does a 'Mark' (over-emote) to stay in Strictly.

Judy and Anton are on ITT tonight.

Opened with a Punch and Judy spoof

Zoe asked Anton if he would like higher marks from Craig.

"No, not really!"

Yay! The mind boggles as to how they are going to work that in but it should be fun(ny)

Perhaps Judy's feet won't touch the ground for most of the routine

I thought that bit we saw on ITT looked surprisingly good. If they stick to just that bit she will 'fly' through the routine!

The mind boggles.

What on earth is funny about Jimmy (judy murray) Krankie???

She can't dance and possesses no personality whatsoever. When judged, she stands there in a vacant like state then gurns when deservedly critiqued.

Why can't i discern anything positive about her appearances? She's crap end of

Anton's corny and cliched antics have been wheeled out for the last ten years. Weren't funny then and aren't now. Here merely self indulges to ridiculous lengths.

Not being nasty, but i worry about the folk on 'ere. If these two excite you so much, then lordy lordy

To conclude, she's probably a nice lady. No one knows. Everyone presumes they know her well enough to judge. But palease.. if this is good tv .. then i'm off to listen to Tony Hancock's half hour. It might be stuff from 1958, but boy is it funny and worth my time

Sounds as if that is another vote for Judy😄

It's not compulsory to vote for Judy.

Enough people clearly like her to keep her on the show.

That speaks for itself.

Vote Judy (if you want to)

I don't

She lacks the entertainment value of either John Sergeant & Ann Widdecombe

Each to their own, though

Methinks, The reason she keeps smiling is due to her fee being increased for every week that she remains

I think she's like that (smiling) most of the time (the exception being when she is watching one of her sons playing tennis).

I love Judy and glad she's got to Blackpool. I haven't voted for her yet because I felt enough people would to get her through so voted for some of the middle ones where they might be in trouble. Only Thom so far went out too soon I feel but Judy would feel bad if she stays in and a good dancer went out because she seems so nice. It's lovely to see another side of her in SCD than just in her tennis role. Good luck in your match today Andy

From what the celebs say on ITT they find it sad whenever a couple is eliminated - even when Greg went people were sorry to see him go. I think the camaraderie is such that it's about surviving and supporting each other to 'dance' another week and not about there being some kind of merit list in which better dancers have the right to survive at the expense of more popular ones.

I think Judy and Anton's routines provide contrast. The pros often seem to be giving the celebs more content than they can handle this year and the end result isn't always pretty. Judy does her best with the routines Anton devises to display her talent and viewers can relax (or put the kettle on) knowing that there aren't going to be any tears at the end of it (well, not from Judy ) or stomach-wrenching attempts at ingratiation. A sweet form of bliss for the many who want her to stay in the competition for as long as possible.

Think I may have sussed Judy's problem - heels. She seems to move around fairly well in training but goes all stiff on the live show. The only difference is footwear (comfy familiar trainers vs strappy sandals/ballroom shoes with heels).

Be interesting if such a hopeless dancer as Judy actually connected with the GBP enough to actually go on and win the show over far better dancers, if that unlikely scenario occurred I wonder what not only the judges but the powers that be would make of it? Im starting to hope she actually does go all the way, well the mischevious side of me

Maybe the problem is that the other contestants are not particularly appealing & Judy provides a nice contrast
What name??
13-11-2014
It would be undeniably entertaining to see her try to master two dances per week and attempt some of the Latin dances.

Also the forum would be hilarious at that point both with those outraged that she stayed and those claiming despite all the evidence that she is improving
