I don't know how you can say that, look at Adele, Sam Smith, Mick Hucknall to name just a few - I wouldn't say they are anything amazing to look, they dont' prance around on stage they just sing because all they need to have is their AMAZING vocals and great songs and that is all you need to sell your music and any doubters out there had better believe that Andrea will be the next HUGE star. I can say otherwise. Nothing about Andrea is memorable, exciting or interesting to me. I find myself zoning out when he's on and I have forgotten his performance within minutes of it ending. I honestly can't see his appeal at all

Yeah but none of them came from \ TV talent show. The only successes from TV talent shows have also been popular as sex icons.

Could say the same for lauren too. .......at least she can rely on her fanbase to keep her in, regardless of what dirge shes churning out each week! !!

Why is Lauren getting such abuse from people like you on here for doing ballads? She's at least done interesting takes on them (unlike some of the guys) yet they're not getting as much abuse for it unlike the pretty girl, a bit convenient that is.

And with Fleur and Stevi all they do is uptempos yet I don't read anywhere near as much abuse for that on here as much as I do about girls in particular white girls (I don't like bringing race into it but I've noticed it happening in other years with the white girls) when they start singing ballads as their main tempo, it's annoying and not very fair imo, it's like some sort of jealousy comes into it I think.

I second this opinion. Andrea got the voice but nothing is memorable at all, all his performances are same, all diva ballads which was sung hundred times on the singing show.

Because when Andrea was accused of singing ballads at the start, he was getting abuse left, right and centre. Lauren gets picked up on it now...and according to you, she should be left alone??? If shes part of this competition and her performances are up for debate, it will be commented on...whether you like it or not! !!

The difference being also, Andrea is willing to try different things during the live shows ....Lauren iS NOT!!! As far as im concerned, shes certainly not one of the ones who is carrying this show. ..next to SK, she maybe bringing it down to an all time low.....Abi Alton nk2??????

For me Only The Young are stealing the show. The fact that they've been below par is more down to producer interference than their own choices. Now everybody seems to have accepted that SK aren't a thing, OTY hopefully will be able to do what they do best - fun, entertaining performances that the show is seriously lacking in this year.

Ben and Andrea are the vocal talent, I have no doubt that they will finish top two. They're always vocally fantastic and have shown that they can command a stage too.

Regarding fleur, I dislike her but I can appreciate her place in the competition. She's the only solo act left who actually puts on a performance and I can imagine her being successful after the show. My problem with her is that she appears to be a dancer who does a bit of singing rather than a singer who can also dance. Her vocals aren't distinctive or powerful and on record, I don't think I'd be able to tell it was her singing. Plus, if she insists on rapping, she needs to write her own material.

Go to ~Fleurs SoundCloud page and have a listen to her tracks. Her vocals are very good, both live, and on recordings.

I think the key word for Lauren is potential. I liked her auditions but not sure they've sent her in the right direction on the lives, apart from Happy. I do think it could be a year or 2 early for her but think she can make it if managed well
