Problem with multiple 3 accounts

I am currently doing some testing with a couple of 3G routers which I am connecting in tandem. It's part of a setup that I have out in Kenya but I am trying to provide hot standby to change ISP's with a software switch.
I am testing here in the UK with two 3 dongles, but I have a constant problem working out which one I am connected to at any moment in time. I can go onto the 3 website and it will give me a certain amount of information, but not the phone number without logging in. As the login process involves typing in the phone number that's a bit self defeating. How can I unambiguously determine which one I am connected to ?

Change the SSID of each to their respective phone number or something else that clearly identifies them?

They already have distinct SSIDs, and it would be easy if I was connecting directly to them, but I have one router feeding the WAN input on the other, that is where the confusion arises, as to what is happening with DHCP at any moment.

3 mobile broadband dongles get a public IP address, so the dongles should have a different IP to each other. Could you not use one of the many "what is my IP" sites to find out if it has changed?

Yes, you're right, I'm overlooking the obvious. I use ipchicken.com all the time for that. Only problem is that every time you reconnect a dongle it tends to get a new ip address but it will suffice for my testing. Thanks.
