When you have sold literally HUNDREDS of millions of albums and singles and the kind of money he has, you can pretty much do what you want.
And he's done it in the span of 15 years with the majority of them being sold BEFORE Itunes got big, most of those sales are physical copuies, not people clicking on an Itunes link. The amount he has done in such a short space of time is truly amazing.

I don't think any of you know what a Cypher is. Eminem, as part of Shady Records has been doing these for a few years now. The label is celebrating it's 15th year since Shady Records was set up in 1999. The reason the cypher was done was to promote the 2 disc album which is out in a few weeks. That's all it was. And it's not like a Elton John or Beatles or a Madonna where hundreds of millions of records are spanned across 20, 30, 40 years. Eminem done it in less than 15. The post is based on a list of top sellers used to justify one artist giving power over another artist. Look at that list Rihanna is head and shoulders above Bob Dylan - so I guess it's ok for Rihanna to diss Dylan because he's not in her pay grade...
