Yes, that song shows a somewhat unhealthy interest in what seems like a serial killer.
But you might think of it the way we think about gruesome horror movies like 'Hostel' , 'Saw' or 'Friday the 13th'. They are entertainment.

I don't think of them in the same way at all. Horror movies are popular because people like to be scared without having a real dread of something bad happening. Who listens to Eminem rapping about raping a young girl (a kid) for similar reasons?
