Fleur East hints at big band song choice!

" Big Band a Week is me going back to basics' that's my only hint!

Any ideas?

She was talking to the reporters on good morning Britain at the premiere last night

Well I say!

That's the name of xTina second album so me thinks it's 'ain't no other man' or 'candy man' not sure if I would of given her those tunes! I woulda given her a Jessie J song. She could hit the big time with bang bang again or mama knows best.

"back to basics".

I despise that phrase.

Candy Man would draw comparisons with Alex...

Yeah I think Ain't No Other Man is likely (to avoid Alexandra comparisons).

But Bang Bang performed with a live band could be an amazing moment for this series!

She could easily handle candy man in her right even if she does get compared to Alex it Could be in a good way however back to basics could also be bang bang

She said it's never been done on the show before so that rules out Candy Man and Aint No Other Man.

I would like her to do Crazy in Love (Great Gatsby/Emeli Sande version) but I dont see how that would fit 'back to basics'

Bang Bang?

Or yes, Ain't No Other Man.

I don't think either of the Christina Aguilera songs would be good for Fleur. ANOM doesn't have the wow factor while Candyman will just get compared to Alexandra. "Back to Basics" does make me think it will be one of those two though, sadly.

I don't know how I feel about her doing Bang Bang again. Won't Mel have a go at her for repeating a song she's already done? Plus the great thing about her JH performance was the rap and I don't think it should be incorporated into Big Band week.

I know it's an overused song and usually I'm against them but Fleur can really PERFORM Proud Mary. It's the type of high-energy powerful song that could really do wonders for her. It helped both Rachel Adedeji and Misha B escape the sing-off despite them being unpopular with the public.

How is bang bang acceptable as big band song???,...how???...ain't no other man yes... But t there is no way bang bang would be considered a big band song...

I'll bet that means she's doing 'Ain't No Other Man' from the Christina Aguilera album 'Back To Basics'

To the X Factor, big bang = any song with a bit of brass in it.

Plus, I'm sick to death of them having the same songs every year with this theme. Nobody needs another version of Mr Bojangles.

There is not enough of it to be considered big bang... I mean listen to the song again...

LOL I did mean big band.

I'd rather not listen to it again to be honest, I've had rather enough of that song.

It has violins in it; that's enough to make it Big Band in the world of The X Factor.

With the right arrangement that could actually could work! That song would actually suit fleur!

Very much sounds like an Xtina reference so I think it will be Ain't No Other Man.

Any of the mentioned Christina songs would be terrible to be honest. Fleur needs a song that suits her tone and allows her to perform. Neither of those songs really allow her to without her blatantly copying Alexandra's choreography for 'Candyman'.
