So there are four people of ten there, even DS has started articles in the news forum who are they? Looks like the smart people do not touch this show with a barge pole. However much ITV want to through money at celebrities, the real celebrities opt for SCD where the pay is far far less but clearly SCD has celebrities IACGMOOH would die for.

There is also a referral today for the bad treatment of dumb animals, and in an article in the Radio times Chris Packham also says the insects and bugs are poorly treats as well.

Sunday night does have intelligent programmes on, BBC1 has Warhorse on!”

Doesn't watch IAC but lets go on the forum and have our little BBC fanboy speech.

You defended SCD for its poor line-up, but slam IAC. You couldn't make it up.

IAC is about personalities and not how well known they are.

ooops I didn't realise in my earlier response to you that you were being sarcastic but yes I agree. After 12 years of this show this is the most underwhelmed I have ever been over the list of who is going in.

I mean, the title 'I'm a Celebrity...' suggests that it is about how well known they are... and for a three week long series, the line-up's pretty shoddy in comparison to Strictly, which is a great list for something that can use up six months of the year for a celebrity (and is about learning to dance, not about learning to eat a kangaroo anus). And even compared with past years' offerings from the same show, it isn't good.

This is a bit of a turn up.......apart from the Towie and the models I know all of the other 7 of them.......

It must be a world record for an 'Celeb' show.........

I'm in the minority as per and love the line up. As for knowing the celebs, it just depends on what you're into. I've heard of most of them and am pleasantly surprised, well amazed actually by Michael Buerk being in it. I listen to Radio 4 and catch the Moral Maze and am fascinated to see what he is going to be like. I suspect he'll become the baddie

I've heard of 4. Nobody stands out for me this year, so I won't be watching. Didn't watch last year either because of Joey Essex taking over every episode.

Pretty happy about that

The current line-up isn't exciting me yet but I'll reserve judgement. At least there seems to be little chance of a showmance!

Ha, my OH said that - it would be a funny twist!

I have heard of 6 of them so more than usual, but as others have said, it's about how they interact and their personalities. Sometimes those I haven't heard of become the funniest.

Love this series and it's the only Reality tv programme that our whole family enjoys

The lineup does look boring. Most of them are ok individually, but the whole group looks a bit dull together. Could do with some younger men (the men are 28, 36,49, 50 and 68). Reserve judgment though, I thought the 2012 camp was boring on paper, but it turned into a great series.

I usually eyeroll a bit when viewers complain about the lack of young, attractive men...but it does seem bizarre that there are 4 single/seperated women and no single men (well maybe Tinchy .. but he's " dating").

Reality shows tend to like forcing a few romances to ensure more press coverage..so the lack of single guys this time is rather odd.

It's the doomed attempts to put people together and hype up non-existent romances that makes me not want to watch this show. What on earth is interesting about watching that kind of contrived nonsense? Keep it for soaps and the entertainment pages in tabloids.

Celebrity Love Island was an attempt to build an entire reality show out of trying to couple up celebs and look how well that turned out.

Putting a lot of young attractive people in means fewer genuinely interesting people get in. It's those that can make this show good TV. After a few days in the jungle it won't matter what they look like any more. The person inside is what counts on this kind of show.

I agree.....I'm just perplexed at them casting pretty much unkown women like Nadia and Kendra (who are currently single/seperated) if not for the showmance side of things.

They might turn out to be entertaining....but I'm sure there are plenty of better known people who could have been cast for the same fees, that would be just as entertaining and more of a draw to viewers (initially at least). Even Celebrity Coach Trip rarely has people with this low a profile.

I know who everyone is apart from 3, the 2 models and Gemma, which makes a change and I suppose a age thing, quite happy, and looking forward to it, I am sure Ant & Dec will have some pearlers and make mincemeat of them.

Yes anyone stands a chance of being entertaining. More intriguing are celebs who you think would be interesting and turn out to be a pain.

Kendra is hardly an unknown but she isn't a celebrity in UK terms. She and Nadia will be in there primarily for the ubiquitous bikini showering scenes. I doubt their fees would be high as they stand to gain a lot in publicity.
