They look very nice, I like to see patent shoes for ballroom. Presumably you wear a Latin shoe for AT?

A girl likes to look her best on the teli . Its not like Natalie had to trek the fields to milk the cows . She was all dolled up and good on her for wanting to look good

Yes I got these for AT. The heel helps posture. And very light and soft and apparently feel like kid gloves when doing a barrida (foot sweeping), sanguche (sandwich) or a lustrada (shining = polishing shoe on follower's leg )

Really cheap at £11.75 including delivery from China.

Why didn't I listen

Today whilst not being an elder lemon quite yet..my poor old feet and legs are in constant pain. Plantar fasciitis & Metatarsalgia are torture and I will need surgery in the very near future. I only wished I had listened to my elders.
These days it's a lower heel and high heels only from car to bar.”

Time wounds all heels ... (and other parts of the feet)

I hate high heels with a passion but Strictly is a dressing up show. The costumes are OTT, the audience has a dress code and, I expect, the producers have told the pros to glam up for ITT (especially the female pros). I remember Steve tweeting he was worried he had nothing to wear for his first appearance on ITT.

I can understand shorter girls putting on high heels for a bit of lift , but Natalie and Zoe must be around 5' 10" which is already considered pretty tall for a female . 6" heels makes them 6' 4" which is taller then most males . I suppose Natalie and Zoe are the people to ask . Maybe they enjoy feeling superior

I should have put the word accidental in quotes. I meant the occasion where the accident is engineered. The guy that is standing unnecessarily close, the guy whose hands seem to land on one's bum when the bus lurches etc

Point taken.

Trouble on our system is there ain't no such thing as unnecessarily close - sardines is the default setting. D:

Oddly enough the taller you are the better heels suit. One person who was always conscious of her lack of height looked strangely all shoe because of the skyscraper platform heels she wore.

I agree. And hardly any woman can actually walk properly in heels either.

Models can - they are trained for the catwalk - always land on their knees.

Given the loony excesses that sometimes appear on the cat walk are we sure they weren't.

I actually find "FM" heels quite unnerving. I can quite visualise an "FM" episode but swiftly followed by a stiletto through the heart ...
