Just to add to the memory thing but it was Cocoa not Coffee.

and from the Doctor's Daughter which I always thought meant that eight had more children during the Time War but maybe not?

Quote:
“Donna: Oh, I know that look. See it a lot ’round our way. Blokes with pushchairs and prams. You've got Dad Shock.
The Doctor: Dad Shock?
Donna: Sudden, unexpected fatherhood. Take a bit getting used to.
The Doctor: No it’s not that.
Donna: Well what is it then? Having Jenny in the TARDIS, is that it? What's she going to do, cramp your style? Like you've got a sports car, shes's going to turn it into a people carrier.
The Doctor: Donna, I’ve been a father before.
Donna: What?
The Doctor: Lost all that long time ago. Along with everything else.
Donna: I’m sorry. I didn't know. Why didn't you tell me? You talk all the time but you don’t say anything.
The Doctor: I know. When I look at her now I can see them. The hole they left, all the pain that filled it. I just don't think I can face that every day.
Donna: It won't stay like that. She'll help you. We both will.
The Doctor: When they died that part of me died with them. It'll never come back. Not now.
Donna: I'll tell you something, Doctor. Something that I've never told you before: I think you're wrong.”

Didn't Clara say something like 'married 4 times and divorced (something)' or did I not hear right, she was going a bit quickly.

"All deceased" and I think when he talks about his kids dying he thinks that by setting off the moment as he thought he had, that he'd killed them. Maybe they were all fighting in the war, or maybe they were all 'pacifists' like him we don't really know. But, it's not like he planned it that way, he thought he was never gonna survive setting it off.

If the implication is that setting off the moment killed his kids then that means that they are now back on Gallifrey again. Now there's a thought

That Quote from Donna was great, she was a real adult talking to the Doctor about real problems, was a refreshing change, not something I want from every companion but great at that point in time

Saw it the other day. He was shocked that the making of chocolate/cocoa (not coffee) was a proposal and later reported to Ian (?) that he'd become engaged. I expect someone else has picked that up.... should read through to the end of the thread, I suppose!

I kind of get the impression the Doctor has been married more than 4 times. So much about his previous lives have been unseen. The Doctor lies, so Clara could be misinformed.

I think this was an indication that Clara still retained knowledge she gained during her other lifetimes within the Doctor's timeline. I woudln't have thought half of what she related would have come from the Doctor telling her. He's not usually that chatty and forthcoming!

I hope not! Susan was his granddaughter so her mother was either his daughter or daughter-in-law.

My first thought was that she found out more than she let on in Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS.

That would be amazing but unfortunately my logic is complicated.
