What would you have done? My suggestion: 'You're Fired' - the board game version of the Apprentice. Very meta.

Now, I do have experience of this, because on DSA3 we had a task to design a board game. I remember that my team (led by Amy aka TheAuburnEnigma) came up with a heroes vs villains game where you had to find your way around a fortress (I think?) and answer quiz questions. I designed the characters and the questions! It was a lot of fun, one of the best DSA tasks I did.

Pardon my ignorance, but what is DSA 3?

DSA is Digital Spy Apprentice. It's The Apprentice in the form of a forum game, so you get given a task and the teams work on it, then there is a boardroom that everyone watches and someone gets fired. (It's great fun, give it a go next year!) I took part in the third series last year where I came fifth, and the fourth series earlier this year when I came fourth. DSA3 is the third series.

I think the "Relationship Guru" game was a good idea, but might've worked better if they'd gone for a "Mr. and Mrs." theme instead (contestants' answers having to match with one another) or perhaps a Truth-or-Dare theme !
