Just a bit of a silly one, but i'm currently re-watching
the reruns on horror with tom - (logopolis tomorrow) & it got me thinking. Out of his 2 costumes, which do you prefer:

His original costume

or the "purplish" one created (i believe) by JNT.

Myself - definitely his 1st costume.

He had more than 2.

The first one evolved a lot over time, until it was completly replaced by the purple one in his last series.

Tom's costumes changed gradually over his first six series before JNT instigated a more uniform burgundy look, which Baker didn't much like (although the heavy coat came in useful on location shoots!)

His first season saw Tom wearing a short jacket with an occasional overcoat over the top, tweed trousers and sometimes a cardigan, along with the scarf and hat.
His second season saw the introduction of a much longer jacket/coat which came in two styles, a darkish red/brown and a grey tweedier one.
By the third season he seemed to be favouring the darker one more and was more frequently wearing his trousers tucked into boots.
Fourth season and Tom's shirts became bigger and blousier, and the scarf seemed longer and thicker too.
This seemed to be broadly what he carried on wearing until JNT took over, but virtually every story sees Tom Baker wearing slight variations to his clothes. There can't have been many stories that saw him wear exactly the same as the one before.
