I don't know whether people disagree but I just think it every year. Its bad enough that nearly every year now for a while we don't have Christmas songs as Christmas Number One (Granted Band Aid 30 should easily be this year ). It should be an annual thing.

Practically everyone loves Christmas songs at Christmas (Fairy Tale Of New York as my personal favourite ). It used to be something that I enjoyed even if it was just in the series final each of the contestants doing a christmas song.

Not having the finalists doing a medley of 5/6 christmas songs doing 30 seconds of each. Christmas songs usually stand the test of time when their successful being repeated every year with heavy air play on radio where as half the number ones that come at any point during the year can mostly be forgotten except for the fans of that particular artist.

Yes, it would be nice if they sang at least one Christmas song during the Final. When was the last year we had one? 2008? (JLS "Merry Christmas")

The Ray and Leona Final they had Christmas trees on stage too

Nearly sure they had Christmas trees on stage every year until around 2010-ish. They need to bring them back too!!

But yes I definitely think Christmas songs in the final is appropriate, if they can dedicate a whole 10 odd performances for Halloween songs which is a dodgy theme to begin with then it's the least they can do!

Yeah I hope they bring back the Christmas songs too and the trees were nice too.

They did them in 2011. Little Mix did Silent Night. Fairly sure Marcus did Last Christmas.
