Character was going nowhere so no great loss.
A very poor actor as well |

I do have the feeling he thinks hes better than Eastenders and the gay storyline is fitting right with him, who knows, future will tell.
Let me guess, to break hollywood?

I knew he would leave, he wants bigger things and it's been a good platform. I thought he would give it another year but I'm not massively surprised!

I'm surprised he is going so soon. I would have expected another year to really establish himself. He hasn't really made that much of an impact apart from the initial coming out story. What that article doesn't say is whose decision it was.
I hope this means Nancy will be allowed to shine now. |

As a follower on Twitter, his idols are the big Hollywood actors and I think he wants a piece of that.
He's young with ambition, if he wants to go off and chase that then I wish him luck, I know there are some on here that will call him deluded and laugh, but if we don't follow our dreams when we are young then what's the point?! |

Who's next? Is this the start of the Carter family falling apart?
I bet DTC is a bit annoyed. |

Quite sad news. Was never really given the chance to shine, but a lot more could have been done with him. Wish Sam the best of luck, and hope they leave the door open for him to return further down the line.

So much for Tosh and Dean leaving first, instead we have Stan and Johnny.
Personally, I'd rather see Lee go. More to Johnny's character |

A bit naughty of him to let them down like this just as Ben returns.

Was never a fan but putting that aside his big moment was in the first month of him being there and you kind of wondered where the character could go.
To be honest all the carter kids could go and you wouldn't notice as the Carter's are mainly about mick and Linda |

The Carters seem to be falling apart, Stan, Dean and now Johnny on his wsy.
Cant see Danny Dyer staying much longer, he is wasted on a show such as Eastenders. DTC should have kept the owners ofvthe Vic to characters he knew wouldnt leave the show for a while. DTC's Carters are falling apart Wrong Emote i meant

Sam did say something about wanting to try out America and who is anyone on here to say he isn't good enough? he is no better or no worse than a lot of British actors who are currently working in the states. Good luck to the guy.
Its a turn up for the books though. Stan, now Johnny, soon it will be Dean and maybe Lee given the actor is continuing to sign up for indie films. It seems the family might not last as long as even I expected. Once Danny Dyer quits I think the Carters will be finished. Its all hanging on him now. |

Gutted about this, shame, he has been given a lack of storylines since his arrival imo!
