Couldn't find a thread already started for the CiN Special.

Just to add that Vincent & Flavia will also be on this tonight (at 11.45/11.50) with a 'Movie Moves' bit of fun

What are these kids like?

The girls are both blondes so they're bound to be on SCD in the future!

Kids are amazing Bruce looking and sounding old and past it, bless.

Those kids were fantastic. Barely any difference between them and the grown-ups.

I'd give it to Team Sparkle.

I'm with the blue team . But unfair to judge.

Not bad for 86 though

This performance confirms that Bruce leaving was the right thing.

The junior dancers are fab though.

And Anton has finally won something...!

That's what we said.

Natalie is my favourite, but I thought Team Sparkle were a tiny bit better.

I agree. Think the auto cue causing him probs. I'm not a Brucie hater. I love him .

Bruce looked a little bit hunched over there.

Weren't those kids fantastic? They mirrored the pros so well.

Made me all tearful.

Really enjoyed that and those kids were incredible! Almost a shame to have to choose between them. What a great opportunity for them all though and something to remember for life amongst all of their other dance achievements.

His posture's bound to be compromised as he heads for ninety, but he seemed mentally pretty well on the ball though.

Well not tearful but hell, I was impressed.

My Mum is only a year older than Brucie and is in the late stages of a Alzheimers, he's remarkable for his age, good for him!
The kids were brilliant.

I just wondered if I noticed because I don't see him every week and in fact, it's close to a year since the end of the last series. He's definitely still got all his marbles - it's less than 5 years since he did Have I Got News For You.

And 5 years since those youtube vids I was watching with Jade & Ian this pm. He was a million miles from the way he was last year, and the year before, for that matter. Ageing is cruel - but he's thoroughly remarkable nonetheless. Never my favourite performer, but by God I take my hat off to him.

The kids were great, I would have given it to Team Sparkle but I did laugh that Anton has finally won

Those kids were amazing. Their posture and sheer flair were a joy to watch, quite apart from their total command of the dances. So enjoyable to see youngsters showing such talent and them being so delighted to be doing so. They have obviously been superbly taught, but it takes their enthusiasm and comittment to put on a display like they did. Bravo I say.

Really enjoyed this little programme tonight . Tess and Bruce were great . Tess looked fabulous . The 4 children were an absolute delight and matched the pros perfectly step for step . Pity it was so short, could have done with another 30mins at least .

Really no fan of SBF (and was glad he retired/was retired from SCD) but I'll give credit where credit is due.
For 86 he did blooming well and he was much more of an 'old pro' than Terry Wogan (imho awful).

(Topping them is Nicholas Parsons at ninety. )
