X Factor USA judge LA Reid to mentor the contestants during Semi Finals

Dan Wootton exclusively stated that Epic record executive will give a mentoring session for the 5 semi finalists. This coincides with the introduction of Fifth Harmony to the UK audience. He will also have a role on the live show for the semi finals . All in tomorrow's showbiz section on the sun

I actually enjoy LA Reid so I'm really looking forward to this. I think through this mentoring process he might actually be considering signing some of these finalists to Epic Records in the US. Nicole Scherzinger signed with Epic US earlier this year and Cher Lloyd's no longer with Epic US so there is room for another X Factor US finalist.

Epic Record is known as the worst record label ever who is stingy to spend money on their artists promoting them.

But I like LA Reid when he was on X Factor USA, he's really straight forward and he got a lot of credits for discovering Rihanna.

They've had a 4 act final before - arguably the most successful one, with One Direction, Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson (who've all done well) in it....oh and Matt Cardle.
