For financial reasons and because I stay away a few nights a week, I'm going to buy a bit more frozen veg in my next shop.
I always have peas and sweetcorn in the freezer and I find sprouts are quite good. What other veg would you recommend which is good frozen?

Thanks.

I always have a bag of frozen broad beans in my freezer. Soya beans are great too.

I've tried frozen broccoli and cauliflower once in the past but felt it was too watery and tasteless compared with fresh.

Broad beans as has been said, also chopped onions can be useful, some herbs are quite good frozen, not keen on spinach or cauli and broccoli just a bit too wet when cooked. Casserole veggies (roots) seem OK but give mushrooms and carrots a miss, just not nice IMO

The mixed bags of frozen veg can be good specially ones you just shove in the microwave, its quick and easy and healthy

I find cauliflower, broccoli and carrots fine as I cook them in the microwave with just a tiny bit of water and they taste the same as when I do fresh. Other veg which I find good is cabbage, again cooked in the microwave, no water added as it has enough in it. I also keep diced onions and a bag of mixed peppers in the freezer.
The only veg I find a bit disappointing is green beans, they never taste the same as fresh.

Spinach can be good, especially since it has such a short shelf-life when fresh. Problem is, it depends on the brand. Some are too finely chopped and turn to a watery mush when defrosted.

Frozen veg can be better than some of the fresh veg in supermarkets .....

I tend to either steam or microwave in a a special steamer with salt, pinch of pepper and herbs or 1/2 spoonfuls of juices from the roast meat for a tasty veg side dish.

Was going to post this myself. I wouldn't boil frozen veg such as broccoli, cauli or green beans as they take on too much water.

Either microwave them or steam them (microwaving is essentially steaming them).

I think it also depends on the dish you are using it in as when I use it it doesn't come out as a veg that you could have on it's own. But used to incorporate into a dish such as a stew or sauce and it works well.

Agreed, I tend to use frozen spinach when I make curries, and I love it in that.

I do like to have frozen broccoli and carrots in the freezer for convenience too - fresh often is better with them, but I like the frozen too and it means not buying them so often! Peas also.

And personally I love the bags of frozen carrot and swede mash you can get.

I don't like frozen carrots, I find them tasteless.
Tesco's frozen broccoli is good quality, and handy to have in the freezer, if you don't have fresh.

Tesco's Very Fine Whole Green Beans - I always have these, not the sliced variety, and they cook beautifully. I like frozen broad beans too, and frozen garlic cubes which are marvellous timesavers and available from ASDA.
