Slating one contestant off isn't going to make your "favourite" stand a better chance of winning or change peoples opinion about who they like and don't.

Overrated is a subjective word! Regarding Andrea, he is the bookies favourite & the strongest favourite they have ever had in the history of X factor suggesting there's a lot of people out there who think he is very good & streets ahead of the others.

Does that mean he's going to win? No it dos not! What it means, like him or not, the masses think he's the best contestant.

We all have opinions but ultimately the opinion that counts is the mass opinion, each and everyone's individual opinion counts for very little!

I actually feel most people post negatively regarding other contestants simply because the contestant in question is to them a clear threat to their favoured contestant.

In my eyes most of the posts say a lot more about the poster than they do about the individual they are posting about ”

so do you think describing andrea as world class is an accurate description of his ability or over-rating him ?

I wasn't posting negatively about andrea at all tbh , i am posting negatively about people going overboard about someone who at this point in time can only reasonably be described as arguably the best singer on a glorified karaoke show

Just as overrated is subjective so is world class, to some he is to others he's not it's all subjective! Ultimately the masses will decide!

He does have a lovely voice but I'm not sure he is as outstanding as they say, sometimes I struggle to understand the words and when he was criticised a few weeks ago he looked furious, quite the diva, not sure he's as nice as they would have you believe.

I prefer someone who performs with heart and soul and character and hits a few bum notes rather than someone note perfect but vanilla. Given the choice of, say, Celine Dion or Mary J Blige - well it's MJB for me every time”

Thanks for agreeing! And I agree with your points too, especially the Celine Dion and Mary J Blige. Love Mary!

If I answered the question would that make me right? No it would not! it would simply be my opinion and as I pointed out above our individual opinions count for squat

I DO love his voice and when he sang Earth Song in the first week I thought he was going to blow the competition out of the water, but I have felt strangely disappointed with his performances since. I thought Relight My Fire was a bad song for him and he looked daft painted gold although I hasten to add that wasn't his fault.

I really hope he comes back with a great song this week to put him back up there.

I voted yes... He is certainly the best vocalist...but he doesn't have the whole package to be a successful pop artist outside the show...

I think he's a bit basic in screaming/screeching out runs and high notes all the time a bit like Sam Bailey from last year with not a shred of originality/artistry about him. They also both have this wailing, screechy tone as well. I don't personally like it.

I just hope Simon wakes up, gets rid of Stevi and makes Andrea the novelty act. I couldn't stop laughing after Relight My Fire haha!

Yeah his odds are very short, in fact I'm pretty astounded at just how short he is , evens when theres still 8 contests left seems very very short. Wouldn't want to back him at that price.
