The BBC have today announced their first in a run of themed Strictly Come Dancing mini-series. The first mini-series will see ten A-list celebrities strut their stuff with a professional dance partner, battling it out for the judges' scores and the public's votes.
The series will last for nine shows, with eliminations starting from show two onwards, leading to the grand final with three couples remaining. Eliminations from show two to show five will be decided by a combination of the judges' scores and a public vote estimate. From show six, the public will be given their chance to vote for their favourites. Shows will take place every few days.
Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli are all set to return as judges for the pro-celebrity dance contest, and Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will remain as hosts.
The A-list line up will be officially announced by the BBC tonight at 6.00pm. Early rumours for the mini-series include singer Shakira, member of the Royal Family Prince Harry and singer and activist Yoko Ono.
