He probably would have saved paul so the whole outcome would have been different last sunday, this keeps bugging me as cheryl would have saved paul too

No the producers wanted Paul out so no matter what order it went in, the judges would have still voted out Paul. Louis just said all of that rubbish to cover his own back.

But two of "the judges" (one of whom had no bias towards him as a mentor) voted in favour of Paul. According to this theory, Chery should have eliminated Paul too. Much simpler than taking it to deadlock in the first place.

I don't buy into this particular conspiracy theory, personally.

If they had sent home Paul by three votes to one it would have been perhaps too controversial as it would suggest that he got more votes than Jay. They maneuvered him into bottom spot then eliminated him via deadlock. If Louis had gone first and saved Paul then Cheryl would have eliminated Jay on the basis that he'd lost his voice or whatever.

They know who is bottom before they vote for who to send home. That way they have lee-way to get rid of the act they want.

As Paul was bottom they could take it to deadlock and say that the public chose. If Paul was second bottom they would have voted 3-1 to save Jay James.

If that's true then they should not be told
