Not really decided who I think will go yet , but what I will say is I think a bottom 2 of Stereo kicks vs Only the Young looks likely to me. Was looking at the songs earlier and it looks like Stevi is closing the show if I'm correct? If so then I definitely think a b2 of the 2 groups looks likely.

Stevie has made it on the tour so Simon will want him up and out now .
I predict Stevie in the bottom two with OTY or JayJames .

even as someone who has been supportive of lauren on here I think she could be bottom two tomorrow

she has struggled to live up to the performance she did in week one and we have seen in past years when someone has been highly rated early that a run of below par performances will see people lose patience that they are as good as they appeared to be. we saw it with janet devlin, we saw it with ella Henderson, both strong in auditions and amongst the early favourites but a string of fairly boring songs in the lives saw them fall down the voting.

I really don't think the song lauren has this week is going to allow her to shine and I don't think it plays to her strengths. having said that unless she is in the bottom two with ben, fleur or andrea I would expect her to be saved.

The mentors will start pulling the old reverse psychology trick and really praise Stevi

Stevie is a goner, and no loss to the show to be honest. Should never have made it to the finals in the first place.

Its interesting that so many people think Stevie will go , if he's closing the show which I think he might be then I'd of said he'll be safe.

didn't he close the show 2 weeks ago and was in the second half again last week ?

cant see him in the final slot again this week

I predict whoever's given the second slot tonight will be bottom two on Sunday...

What if it is Andrea???...

I think a bottom 2 with both groups is likely depending on running order. Though I actually think things have shifted a little recently, and that it'll likely be OTY who get kept over Octogroup in the bottom.

Well it was Week 7 in series 9 that saw James and Ella bottom two, with Ella given second spot in the lineup, so nothing's impossible...

Jay, Only The Young and Stereo Kicks are likely bottom 2 possibilities... Stevi i think is OK for now, but i can see him possibly being there...anyone else would be a surprise and won't go home against these 4...or is highly unlikely to go against these....I'm not even gonna think about what happens if two of Andrea, Ben, Fleur and Lauren are in the bottom 2...but i think Ben may be the most vulnerable if he lands in the bottom with any of the other 3 which is a highly unlikely scenario seeing who the other 4 acts are...

OTY and Stevie.

Shock contender for bottom 2 - Fleur

Really cant see this at all. Fleur is likely to be top, with the two naff groups at the bottom.

Top 4 will be Ben, Andrea, Fleur and Lauren, so I don't see any of them on the bottom 2.

Stevi is doing a mash up. This is in the Wagner style of being fun and entertaining rather than good. This indicates they still want him in but are giving him an even bigger push than usual because he's moving closer to the bottom spots. I expect him to escape B2 this week but not next.
We only need a comment about it getting to the tougher end of the competition where the real singers are for him to have the chord cut.

The bottom 3 is between Jay James, Stereo Kicks and OTY.

Jay James should be getting a bounce this week, but the further into the competition, the harder it is to get those extra votes. His mash-up sounds boring and he will struggle.

Only The Young have been bottom 2 once and have been safe for the last few weeks. This will all depend on their performance but the Jungle Book song could be fun and really hit their demo.

Stereo Kicks were bottom 3 in week 2, bounced to safety in week 3, were bottom 2 in week 4 (Sunday show) and bounced again last week.
Based on this I expect them to be bottom 2 with JJ or OTY.

As JJ may bounce, I'll say SK & OTY B2.

Back to reality here, anyone can bottom...it is just highly unlikely that Fleur will...the same can be said about Andrea, Ben and Lauren...

I'm going to disagree with the comparisons to Janet & Ella. I think she is more of the Marcus Collins/ Nick McDonald type. The contestant who reaches the final without really shining then gets to sing their least voted performances in the final to ensure they don't win.
We will probably discover in the post series post mortem that she was always comfortably top 4 but never threatened the winner.

Janet's performances were mainly due to a lot of bad editing and behind the scenes manipulations which disrupted her rehearsals. The effort they put in to turn the public off her and to stop her winning from such a large lead is amazing to behold.

Ella was sacrificed to create controversy and boost James Arthur to the win. The show never allowed her personality to come through to ensure a distance from the viewer. The strange thing is they could easily have swapped hers and James' roles, eliminated him and boosted her to the win.
Yet they eliminated her, signed him, dropped him and signed her, knowing that they were signing her before they eliminated her, and that he had a controversial twitter history.

Yeah I know but I swear I read it somewhere on tellymix or something, I could be wrong though because like you say he performed last very recently.

Once again, I agree with you.

I think Lauren showed a lot of promise at the auditions and her Happy in week 1 was great. But whether due to poor song choices or the fact they're turning her into a Disney princess rather than a cool, streetwise teen with an edge, she isn't living up to her potential.

I think Stevi should be gone in a perfect world but I think he could have a couple of weeks yet. It's only when the likes of Ben, Andrea or Fleur are at risk that he'll get thrown under the bus imo.

I hope it will be Stevi vs one of the groups but who knows?

I think Stevi will be fine, he has a big upbeat number and a lot of fans. Jay, Stereo Kicks and Lauren I think will be in trouble.

Not really the show's fault tbh, it's due to the voting public they've had to do that. The public like nice inoffensive young girls like Janet and by dressing her up in sweet inoffensive clothes they're doing exactly that to Lauren - softening up her image for the main XF voting demo - mums - to want to mother her.

Also Lauren was never a 'cool, street-wise' or even 'edgy' - what I liked about her from her first audition was that she had this beautiful bluesy vocal with a distinct tone and amazing vocal control (not that I dislike cool and edgy but that's not what Lauren is about):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0otkXnRV2Gg

I think she was off a little bit this week but she was still good this week, not as great this week as others but I'm sure Big Band will only play to her strengths. I don't think she will be B2 after tonight's theme of all nights! I doubt she would poll lower than Stevie or SK after a theme which is specifically about vocals.

Also speaking of Janet mimik's evaluation of what happened to her is slightly incorrect as the show turned on her, she wasn't the producer favorite after about Week 4. Janet was very much a case of the show itself bomb-shelling her. Also Ella was never that popular from the offset - she came third in the vote after all. She never really took off as it were. Whereas I feel Lauren has in a way with Happy.

I'm gonna predict that Stereo Kicks will once again be dodgy as hell but get a standing ovation because Simon sure as anything ain't giving up on trying to make them happen.

If anyones interested , most of the money today has been on only the young to be eliminated, at the start of the day OTY / Stevi / Stereo Kicks were all about 3/1 , Stevi is closer to 4/1 now and Stereo kicks are also drifting , but OTY are into 2/1.

Stereo Kicks and Lauren bottom two this week I think.

I get the feeling that Only The Young are becoming more popular, and Jay will get a bounce from last week.

I am going to pay close attention in the sing off. Rumour has it that whoever sings last has the lowest viewer votes ,that indicates to the judges if they want to take it to deadlock .
