Ever heard of editing? They always get asked questions about the person leaving, their own feelings and next week - the longer version should at some point be on the website (surprised it isn't yet). Janette answered the questions put to her (which could just as easily have been about her birthday plans as the samba!), and the editors chose a bit to use in the end titles. Maybe you should consider the whole context because jumping so quickly to judge her!

Just to add that I've seen the longer version of the video- there's a link to it on the BBC Strictly Twitter feed, and all the couples did get asked about Judy leaving, and they all gave glowing comments about her and how they'd miss her. To be fair to Steve, Janette and Jake, they all said really nice things about her, which just got edited out! You were right Mystical123, the editors choose from a range of comments. Steve said Judy was the most elegant, humble lady he thinks he's ever met, and they will be poorer without her (can't remember exact words), and Janette said she was the sweetest lady she'd ever met and they'd all miss her.
And lots of them including Jake said they'd miss the shortbread + asked can she keep sending it?!

Exactly, I was just coming on here to say the longer version is now available, and surprise surprise, Jake & Janette said some lovely things about Judy, as did everyone else. And couples like Mark & Karen feature in the video when they weren't in the final edit for the end credits of the results show at all!
