As I said in my post, Lauren was in SYTYCD in America! Have a look at the video where you can see it is not the UK version.

He was much better than I thought he was going to be, but he was rather stiff and, I think, over-marked.

It was a good AT I think - the mood and music were excellent!

I stand corrected, but if you had seen the clip posted by an earlier message, you would have gathered that I was referring to that clip which showed Pasha and his partner Lauren in the American version .

Well actually, no you didn't. The post I read simply said Pasha/Lauren, and I had no idea who Lauren was.

It was said quite clearly in a previous post - usually reading the whole thread for context and the flow of discussion helps.

I really enjoyed Simon's AT last night. The stand out performance for me. So unexpected.
Frankie, Simon & Jake's were the only dances that stood out for me last night.

He was excellent last night. The AT is clearly not an easy dance, what with all that leg locking or whatever you call it! He's definitely on the up and has worked really hard at it, so good on you Simon and Kristina!

I like that he is visibly progressing, not just having the odd lucky week. But he was amazing last week as well, and then another step on this week. Really hope he continues like this!

He seems to have had a personality transplant - its amazing. Up until last week I thought he was the dullest person in the world, but both last week and this I have LOVED his dances. I don't know what's happened but I'm glad it has, and I actually wouldn't mind if he won now!

Just to add the pros have to get expert help with the AT and I think this lady and her partner deserves a mention, from sofakat's post

At least Kristina got Myriam Mina Ojeda Patino to choreograph it for her so - at last an SCD AT has some real AT steps in it. This is what Myriam has posted about it:-

Very happy to have collaborated with this fantastic couple in creating the choreography for the competition. Argentine Tango -Stage Style-. Diomar Giraldo Escobar and I are thrilled with the 3 10 scores and the 8 from lovely Craig.
Thank you to all our students and friends for the support and for voting!! many thanks indeed. They did really well and managed this precision with only 6 hours of work with us. Congratulations.
What name??

I think part of this is due to Kristina who I think is a good teacher who has worked consistently to build up the dance basics and is really pushing him to lead rather than just appear to lead and it is showing now.

It was superb! It fully deserved the marks by the judges.

That's why it was so good. No backing dancers (who do not need to be there) to distract folrom the couple.

Probably the best AT since Mark Ramprakash and Karen Hardy - both robbed of 4 10s

I might be wrong but I thought that some routines (Argentine tango, charleston, jive) were often choreographed by other pros. Vincent and Flavia obviously did their own AT.
