Agreed on both points.

And if she stays, then a far better dancer (with much more prospect of progressing) will go.

Watched half the show last night - a pure entertainment programme. Used to watch for the dancing but the music and the dances are barely recognisable! If Judy should win or even continue to the final shows how low the show has sunk.

Judy is a lot of fun and doesn't let the judge's harsh words get her down. As someone else has already said, a real trooper.

Anyone that is dancing with the SCD clown is sure to go a long way, I think Anton is in the Beeb script as being funny and entertaining, I just FF or mute as soon as he appear on my tv....

Personality does comes into how we see things.Judy is probably one of my favourite people there, but I can't say I enjoy watching her dance.

Caroline and Simon are my two favourites and I know they're not the two best technical dancers, so their personality on the dancefloor (and my own bias) must come into it, but I would vote for them because I enjoy their dances...they are the dances I would watch again on youtube and want to see them dance again the next week (not because I like them as people and know it would make them happy if they got through). I wonder if any of those who vote for Judy actually enjoy watching her dance more than others, or if they just want her to do well because they like her as a person?

I enjoyed her dance last night. Yes by others standards she wasn't marvellous but she had definitely made some progress this week. She seemed more relaxed and actually danced a nice VW - by an ordinary woman standard - not someone who is used to 'performing' in any way let alone had any previous training. So I can happily commend her for her dance.

I thought it was a lovely performance last night by Anton and Judy - the whole thing was staged beautifully.

If and when she goes it all gets a bit too serious, no funny put downs from Craig etc. What makes the show is the entertainment - good and not so good. And Judy has provided that in bundles with Anton.

Anton really is the Louis Walsh of SCD

There to raise a laugh and mentor the joke act

Anton is the life and soul of Strictly Come Dancing.

I see why Judy ticks a lot of boxes for a lot of viewers but, for me, her apparent imperviousness to criticism is a double-edged sword.

On the one hand it's admirable that she takes it so well. On the other I think she is less incentivised to improve. Generally I find Judy & Anton's performances boring due to her limitations - although they were a bit better this week.
