Anyone else think Tristan is gorgeous, wish he had been paired with Pixie or Frankie so we could have seen more of him on the show. Being from NI I have a soft spot for him being Irish. Hopefully he will be part of show next year and get a better partner - no disrespect to Jennifer as she came across as a genuinely nice person.

When Anton retires, I guarantee, Tristan will take up his mantel. Until the producers are sacked, there'll be no change. I swear the reason Tristan was poached from DWTS was because the powers that be know Anton only has a couple of seasons left in him at most, and need someone to look after the OAPs who need a gentle touch.

I'd quite like someone with an imagination in charge of SCD, and a world where either Tristan or Anton could make the final with a decently talented celeb, but I doubt it'll ever happen because of the former point...

I've been a huge fan since his first DWTS season and am so pleased we've got him. Fingers crossed for a long run next year...


I don't think any of the male pros will be left out. As the show now has 15 couples as standard, next year will have 8 male pros and 7 female pros. So Robin can slot back in, and a female pro will have to go (I'd guess Ola, unless they plan to bring in someone new - then more than one female pro will be dropped).

Well Tristan is dancing with Rachel Stevens in the Xmas Special isn't he? So there's a chance to see what he can do when paired with a talented celeb

Trent is a very nice guy, I am happy that he is doing so well.

That is currently the only reason for me to watch the Christmas Special given how dire most of the rest of the line-up is!

That said, however, I've liked all 3 new additions to the series! I hope Joanne and Tristan get good pros next year, and I sorta hope Trent doesn't get a duffer, and like Kevin gets two half-decent celebs in a row, because he is the best choreographer on the show (and I say that as a long term Brendan fan of the long term pros!) All 3 have made a positive impression!

He was my favourite male pro on DWTS and was thrilled to bits when he joined SCD.

I didn't know Tristan before strictly but I warmed to him straight away, which is unusual for me but I love his dancing, accent, looks and cheeky personality I hope he is on the show next year and gets a contender.

I wouldn't call the person who choreographed Pixie crawling on the floor as the end to that Paso the best choreographer on the show!

I'm happy to waive those 3 seconds of the dance for the other 87, which were purely excellent Paso Doble! XD

I also forgive it because, let's be honest here, in the Paso the woman plays either a cape or a dying bull, crawling on the floor is the least of their concerns with that mantra!

Don't they usually end up there at the end most of the time anyway.
