I don't agree, Jay was not great but Simon said he was the best so far. Simon is just bias and just wants his own category to win at any expense!

To be fair, having just watched Stereo Kicks performance, I can understand why he's in a mood. If I knew that was coming and I'd have to find something nice to say about it, I'd have been grumpy as hell as well.

Hopefully, now that the Human Centipede is out of the way, he'll lighten up a bit. fatherhood does seem to have mellowed him...his persona has been more 'cheeky chap' than anything else this year.

I'm not even an Andrea fan, but I was impressed with the ending of the song. I thought he was really in the moment and gave it everything. Simon is either a robot or a sociopath (or possibly both). Seems like he's just on a big power trip, testing how much he can influence the viewers

It's hardly surprising that Simon seems unhappy. Anyone having to put up with Mel C every week would be very unhappy.
