Isn't it usually five thoughts?
![]() Anyway mine are: 1) Backing dancers distract from the couples we're supposed to be voting on. 2) However, if it's guys in cute gladiator outfits then I can sort-of handle that. 3) Iveta is a natural as a dead-pan comic actress, someone needs to cast her in something! 4) Mark grew on me, then I had him surgically removed. The 'journey' is is becoming grating given he's almost up there with Pixie in the ringer stakes. 5) Based on the judges' comments, they clearly intend this to be Judy's last week. |

1. Do we really need the extra dancers?
2. Blackpool adds 1 to 1.5 points per judge. 3. Had Len been drinking?! He seemed a bit more random than usual this week... |

Oh - if we're doing 5 things, then I'll add:
4. Sunetra looked uncomfortable tonight - I think she could be in danger tonight. 5. Has Tess done something to annoy the wardrobe? Worst dress this series... |

1. What are the producers thinking! The extra dancers are distracting, annoying and completely take away from what the celebrities are doing (Jake!)
2. The music choices this year continue to be dreadful. 3. The climax of Simons AT was the stand out moment of the series for me thus far- genius! |

1, Best show of the series for me!
2, Couldn't choose a favourite out of Jake, Simon, Mark, Pixie and Caroline as they were all excellent! 3, Extra dancers and props usually bug me big time but tonight they weren't too bad, except the silly things being waved around Steve and Ola, totally off putting, couldn't see them half the time, god knows how the judges saw anything, and with all the smoke their feet must have been completely hidden! 4, Zoe is great! 5, Judys best dance, now time to go! |

Thought it was a great show. For once the floor didn't seem too big but agree about the other dancers who were a distraction at times.

Sorry, I still like 5
1. Same again - extra dancers for Blackpool are a pointless distraction. 2. It appears you need to add 5 marks to everyone's scores when they are in Blackpool. 3. Simon again the best of the week. First time I have enjoyed an Argentine Tango. 4. It really is a waste of words to describe a Judy dance as 'her best'. 5. 36 for Mark's Charleston? It is the dance that has shown off many a celebrity. Was this really anywhere near the best of the past? |

1) Zoe is wonderful. Keep her on the main show please Strictly.
2)Some properly good dances this week and I even enjoyed routines by couples I wasn't previously keen on. 3)I didn't realise Blackpool week meant 'Get backing dancers for every routine' week. 4)Darcey and Len made Bruno seem sane which must be a first. 5)Best show of the series. More of that please Strictly. It flew by this week. |

1. AMAZING show with loads of brilliant performances from most!
2. Great music choices this week, I knew pretty much every song used BUT more importantly I think they all suited the dances and the themes very well. 3. Pixie is brilliant - genuinely expected a full 40 for that! 4. Don't get the Simon love one bit, I was thinking all through the dance that he lacked passion and then.... that! 5. I felt quite sorry for Sunetra, Brendan used the backing dancers far too much and it felt like she was pushed to the back, then when she did come to the front him and the supposed backing dancers showed her up. I really feel that she may go out this week. |

6. Zoe is doing a great great job. She's a natural and just slotted into that role with nobody noticing - good job - it's a 10' from me!

1. Love Blackpool week for so many reasons - but disliked the stupid VTs
2. Overall, great staging but could have done without some of the backing dancers 3. Zoe has really settled into her role and is doing a great job ( am surprised to find myself saying that, as usually I find her irritating, but job well done on this show ) 4. Can see my fave, Sunetra, in the DO this week 5. Loved Jake's routine, even though there probably wasn't enough actual dance content, but he acted it so very well |

1-Caroline : Once again doesn't stands out for me. She always does well but thats it...she really Needs to stand out from the rest........Solid jive but thats it...its not something that I will re-watch again.
2- I hate all the overmarking that always seem to happen at Blackpool ![]() 3-Simon and Pixie = Best dances of the Night . WOW. I hope that they manage to escape the B2; Especially Simon ![]() 4-Last year Opening number at Blackpool is STILL the best one YET.It will be very hard to top 5- I like to see everyone raising their game up . Even Judy ![]() . Overall , it was a very enjoyable show

1. Marking all over the shop.
2. Agree with Craig about Caroline's jive; dodgy in places. 3. Simon and Kristina, fabulous routine. I noticed him for the first time. 4. Sunetra and Jake in the DO I suspect. 5. Keep on truckin' Judy Murray! |

With Frankie and Kevin, the backing dancers enhanced Frankie's performance..... with Sunetra, as you say , it was as though Brendan preferred dancing with them....made me quite irritated for Sunetra and I say this as a huge Brendan fan, but it was not good |

1. Haphazard marking
2. Too many distractions from the people we should be watching dance, no need for extra dancers and silly props that obscure our view of the dance (The producers do have it in for Ola) 3. Wrong phone number for Ola and Steve (The producers do have it in for Ola) 4. Loved Pixie's Paso, Simon and Mark were a bit meh for me. 5. Time for Judy to go, but I fear it will be one from Steve or Sunetra |

1. Oh Lord, Len's been on the sherry again!
2. For the love of all that's true, ditch the distracting (and in some cases detracting) backing dancers, please. 3. Think Sunetra's in trouble tonight. 4. Am still wondering what the costume designers are on this year. 5. We'll done Judy, something I never thought I'd say. |

1. Judy finally improves!!
![]() And she actually did some dancing tonight I'm so happy for her, and if she leaves tonight, she's definitely leaving on a high. I think Craig should've given her a 5 at least.2. There was so much overmarking going on tonight. For me, Steve and Mark were particularly overmarked and should have been moved down one or two places on the leaderboard. 3. I can't believe Len thought Steve's AS was his best dance If you look at his Waltz, that showed a smooth and gentle side to him, but tonight he was stiff and actually walking most of the dance. His comments and scores were rather fishy.4. For me, Pixie and Trent were the best of the night. It was dramatic, and for once, the "contemporary" theme incorporated actually worked really well. I don't personally think Simon was as good.5. Frankie is just adorable, and her and Kevin have such a good partnership. Caroline is lovely too, but I thought her Jive was actually a bit too flat for a 10 (though she was in the right place on the leaderboard). Cheeky 6. I think the dance off will be Judy v Sunetra, with Judy out sadly. |

1. Pixie and Trent - dance of the series. My favourite Paso I've ever seen on Strictly. Loved it from the word go. Music excellent, loved the theme and so dramatic and powerful.
2. Didn't get it with Simon and Kristina. It was good, but it wasn't the same standard as Pixie's imo (or Caroline's or Frankie's for that matter) - Craig's mark was fair. 3. On the subject of marking, I know it's Blackpool week but that was just bizarre. Everyone apart from Pixie, Caroline and Frankie overmarked. 4. My love for Brendan knows no end. 5. Great show all round. |

1. FINALLY everyone stepped up to the mark. It took a bit of the Northern luck for it to happen.
2. Simon was a complete surprise. Was that the song Kara and Artem did their Argentine Tango to? 3. 7s were too high for Judy. I could handle 6s, but not 7s. 4. Tess is just far too awkward and unfeeling. Zoe is amazing. 5. Probably one of the best shows of the series so far. |

1. Loved Judy's dress.
2. Loved Darcy's dress. 3. Caroline's dress was marginally better. 4. Too many dancers on the floor - so distracting. 5. Mark's dance entertained me the most tonight. |

1. I agreed with Craig about Simon's Argentine, good but Christina did most of the dancing, though climax was excellent!
2 Pixie & Trent brilliant!! Best dance of this year so far!! 3.May not have been brilliant but at least Judy actually danced tonight, no doubt the cue for the British public not to vote for her!! 4.Sunetra looked well out of her depth!! The dance off beckons I think!! 5.thoroughly enjoyable week on Strictly |

1. What were the judges looking at when Mark was on? Slow, dull, ploddy, charmless rubbish.
2. Anton's insistence on putting illegal lifts in is tiring. It's high time he stopped playing the joker. 3. Marking just about under control, especially compared to last year... 4. Yay Caroline. 5. If Judy doesn't go tonight I think I might temporarily retire from this forum... |

Apologies, most of mine are negative
![]() 1. Steve, love him. But there's definitely a weird chemistry between him and Ola and I'm uncomfortable watching their dances. 2. Sunetra, love her. But getting a wee bit annoyed with her for going wrong. Less-than-perfect technique I can forgive, but she can't afford to make actual mistakes. That's two weeks in a row now. I did vote for her though as there's 2-3 others I'd rather see in the dance-off and she could redeem herself with the Waltz. 3. Nothing against Simon or Kristina but I agreed with Craig's comments about their Argentine Tango. It was good but I wasn't crazy about it and the 10s were ![]() 4. Had more than enough of the judges fawning over "novice" Mark and banging on about his transformation. (a) there is some performance background there that they're not alluding to and (b) his Charleston didn't look as good as they were making out. They're overrating him and pretending he's on more of a journey than he is. 5. Pixie and Trent blew me away. Didn't mind the half-naked gladiators either ![]() Oh forgot... 6. Jake seems incapable of doing Ballroom unless there's a Tango-esque feel about it ( or at least a moody atmosphere). Showing a lack of versatility for me. Still like the guy but not looking like winning material at the moment. |
