1) I suspect those bad trip lighting effects bouncing off the floor hid a multitude of foot work sins.
2) Sunetra couldn't stop a pig in a passage...put her in longer dresses. 3) They may not be the best dancers but I love Steve & Jake...getting on with it and mostly silent is a style Mark & Simon should aim for. 4) Craig's over the hill chorus boy routines at the start are really ![]() 5) Was the show from Blackpool this week? |

1. The Tower Ballroom was the star of the show; gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
2. The OTT marking must have been a product of location. Don't think I have seen so many errors wilfully ignored. 3. I didn't recognise the dance that Jake and Janette did as an AS but whatever it was it got my juices flowing. 4. Craig makes Judy look good when it comes to dancing ![]() 5. Zoe gets better each week. I'll miss her on the main show when she's tossed back to ITT. |

1 No more dancing from judges please
2 No more dancing from 'extras' please (distracting and annoying) 3 No more good presenting from Zoe please (I want her to stay on ITT!) 4 Loved Simon and Kristinas AT. 5 Given Judy, Sunetra and Steves performances, I think Caroline should be safe. |

1 - For once you were wrong Craig, Mark's Charleston wasn't better than Simon's Argentine Tango.
2 - Some more dodgy music choices. 3 - Sunetra and Mark were over marked this week. 4 - Judy actually produced a glimmer of a recognisable dance, could be her downfall. lol 5 - Alison did say she was going to Blackpool regardless, she was true to her word. |

1. I like Zoe and Tess presenting together.
2. Pixie was by far the best dancer last night and deserved four tens. It was the dance of the series for me. 3. Loved Caroline and Pasha's jive 4. Frankie overmarked as usual. The judges were afraid of the tears this week I think. 5. Judy seems like a lovely person but she is not a dancer |

1. Probably the best show of the series so far. But I was still unwelemed by it as I am by this whole series.
2. Loved Simon, Caroline and Jake. Didn't think Mark was that good. 3. Judges scoring was just bizarre last night. 4. Judy has improved. 5. Outfits in my opinion were awful last night especially poor Caroline's |

1 blown away by that AT
2 much better Jake, but you still haven't got that sparkle back from my point of view 3 War Drobe can't even get Caroline's union flag frock right - poor girl 4 Zoe is a joy 5 underwhelmed by Mark and Karen |

1. A Town like Malice will for ever bring up an unpleasant image of the smug vicar (Tom Chambers) so Frankie was at a disadvantage with me.
2. The backing dancers were completely unnecessary. 3. What a strange thing that Paso was. How did Gladiators fit in with Martians. Would have been so much better without the pleather. 4. Hated Marks Charleston 5. Judy was bettet |

Love the Tango. Didn't love whatever he had to say. Smacks of desperation.
Mark's charleston was really poor. Did I see a mistake on footing? Trixie and Trent were awesome. So impressed with him. Not fussed on her but love him. Kevin's whooping at 10s was obviously a learnt trait from Karen. Ick. Steve looks miserable. He is not enjoying this. He looked handsome though, as did Jake in tails. |

1. There should be all the tens for Pixies Pasos
2. I loved Carolines Jives (and Pashas acting is as amazing as always 3. With mark it is confirmed. If you are watched as one of the good ones you get always overmarked in the charleston. (90 % percent of charleston get overmarked) 4. steve should be put out of his misery (he looks so uncomfortable and miserable all the time) 5. i think simon is yet the worst case of to lisa snowdown someone (make him happen despite people not liking him.) |

1. Odd music/costume combinations some worked; Pixie & Trent, and Caroline & Pasha. Some didn't Mark & Karen, Steve & Ola, and Sunetra & Brendan.
2. I liked Caroline's dress & Pasha looked cute in a bearskin. 3. Why didn't Anton keep Judy in hold, for once the in hold rotations were the best bits? 4. Are Frankie & Kevin stuck in the 50's as far as wardrobe is concerned. 5. Wish Kristina would wear AT dresses that are dresses not scraps of cloth that look like left over bunting from a transvestite jamboree. |

The number of personal attacks, implied or otherwise, on one dancer that I've read on the forum this morning is getting ridiculous. I remember when this place was a pleasant place to be and people realised it was just a bit rude to be nasty and sneering about someone you haven't met! (sometimes I wish the eye rolling smiley still existed...) |

BIB: that would be difficult given Karen has never got a 10 on Strictly.

Five thoughts about Blackpool SCD
1. Loved the Paso from Pixie and Trent
2. Was totally underwhelemed by Mark, Steve, Jake, Caroline and Frankie 3. Sunetra was awful at the Samba but its the rogue dance anyway 4. Loved the AT with Simon and that ending was stunning 5. Judy was awful but better than usual and so she should be dancing with Anton, he at least knows good Waltz choreography, but she didn't need to go up in the air at all, she actually danced this week. |

It's perfectly possible to give 5 thoughts without a direct attack on a dancer or contestant or their personality - everyone else in this thread has managed it!

1. Loved last night's show. Best one for ages.
2. If you can ignore the costumes Pixie's dance without the music is great. 3. Poor Sunetra. I can understand why they did the Hen night theme as it's Blackpool but I hated it. She looked lost in that gaggle of female pros and it felt a bit seedy when Brendan started dancing with her. 4. I loved Judy's dance. I won't ever vote for her and certainly don't want her to win but it was a sweet, pleasant waltz to lovely music. She looked great too. And she is Spartacus!!! 5. I still don't like Mark. He disturbs me. |

1 The overmarking really annoyed me.
2 The backing dancers really annoyed me. 3 That wasn't an American Smooth. Even by showdance standards it wasn't much good. 4 Crocodile Rock? Epitome of Englishness? Really? 5 Didn't like the opening number. Iveta. Huge skirt at the end. Why? |

1. Trent - wow, loved him last night
2. Judy's dress was beautiful 3. Thought the judges were very careful with Frankie after last week 4. I still hate the screaming and back slapping at the top of the stairs 5. I was shocked to hear the apology for the language as I didn't hear it

7. I was harsh on Simon. Have rewatched his AT and am more appreciative of it now.

1. Pixie and Simon were absolutely incredble! Deserved four 10's in my opinion.
2. Mark was scored too high again. It was good, but there were clear issues that weren't addressed by the judges. 3. Craig scoring Mark a 9 but Frankie and Simon 8? No way. 4. Judy did her best dance, which I think spells the end for her. I have enjoyed her so much on the show though. 5. I want Trent to stay. No offence to Robin, but his choreography never did much for me and Trent is a great choreographer and a cool, laid back guy. |

1. Overall really enjoyed the show - better music, great performances. Let's hope they keep it up!
2. Mark is doing my head in. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a cliché. It comes across as so fake. His charleston also reminded me of a drunken spur of the moment night club dance, but music probably didn't help that. 3. Willing Caroline and Pasha to have a WOW moment. Want them to do well, but it's not happening yet. 4. I'm enjoying Anton this year, he's actually made me giggle a couple of times. 5. Simon's AT wow! Was not expecting that - loved it! |
