It annoys me that many of the keyboard warriors spend their time claiming that various (usually attractive, young) female singers can't sing or mime everything but 'boy' bands like this and the ones on Children in Need on Friday night escape their attention. I can't think of any in those groups who I would say could actually sing in tune.

I loved the guitars with the illuminated fret markers though - I want one!!

Yes, I think the thread is about McScreechy.

McFly just need to go back to being McFly, they're so much better (and actually sing in tune) when they sing on their own! IT really annoys me how fame hungry Matt and James (Busted) are

I thought they were utterly pointless, messy, amateurish and way below average. I mean, they can't even sing in tune. That's pretty basic.

BIB. Glad you said that too Felicity. They were flat the whole time.

I'm not a McFly fan but they had started to earn my respect by growing as a band and seeing live footage of them on TV, they can actually play pretty well. Sadly all that has gone down the toilet now they've gone back to being a crap kiddy band thanks to this McBusted rubbish! But hey, they're selling out huge venues so I guess its all about the money now.

They were terrible Never heard any of their music before and will not bother to again either.

I know American is the lingua franca of pop music, but I've always found it really irritating how Busted always affected those awful phoney down-the-nose accents to sing in. People made fun of Britney Spears for saying "MAY" instead of "me" but at least she's from the right continent for it...

I thought it was okay .. just not very Strictly. I was waiting for Aliona to come on and shimmy her way up to Harry and then hopefully take him for a bit of a spin around the dance floor .. would have been good .. possibly.

One can imaging that the real musicians, the ones who make SCD, just sit at the back and have a real laugh about the succession of no-hopers, wannabees and never-will-be's who tend to fill that slot every week. So many of the immature 'performers' seem more intent on practising onanistic techniques on their guitars rather than playing them.

As I posted in another thread, why don't we have a chance to hear real musicians, talented musicians every week. They are always there and always more than capable of putting on a first class performance.

Wow! Some people must like slagging them off. I thought their performance was really good an you could tell they were having a ball! James has been ill this week so it shows determination and dedication to his fans that he stepped up and did the performance at all!

What amazed me was that they are grown men in their 30's, yet they were dressed like rebellious teenagers! I am not sure what crowd they would appeal to these days, but I was cringing whilst watching them. The song was also very adolescent ....wierd one.

Don't know there other songs but this is the first time I haven't fast forwarded a song on Stricktly for ages. Breath of fresh air on the show IMO

I thought they were dreadful. Thank goodness the marvellous Dame Shirley came on later, to show them what classy means, and how it should be done !!

They are indistinguishable from many other "bands"

He was paid to. Not exactly a hero for doing his job and fulfilling a contract. Just another gig.

I really liked it. They seem to have gelled quite well as one group imo
