In my opinion I thought she sounded dreadful.
Wouldn't be surprised if she was in the bottom 2 with Jay/Stevie

She has a good look- but vocally she is blown out of the water by anyone she would be competing against in the the real world. No chance at a career afterwards- certainly not outside of the UK. I actually think she would have the best shot of making it big, if she were to pursue acting or presenting or something.

the constant accusations of people hating her just because they see her as nothing more than an average performer with a below average voice who is being made to look good by the overall low standard of this years show is getting really tedious

this is a discussion forum , it will have people with different opinions, if you cant handle that go and post in her appreciation thread where you can fawn over her all you want without any risk of hearing a dissenting view

There is no 'vile abuse' of Fleur, mainly people critiquing her performance. That is what forums are for. We are being asked to discuss the subject of X Factor its high and its lows, its positives and negatives and so on. Some you will agree with some you will disagree with.

One should not take it personally when their fave is critiqued.

To be honest i think the comments from the dudges are mundane compared to some of the stuff that i saw on here last night. I have no problem if some people are not keen on Fleur, but at least they should show a bit of decency when doing so.

If there was anything indecent the Mods would have pulled the post.

There are some strong opinions and Fleur is always going to be targeted just because she is not an amazing vocalist and is being promoted to death by XF producers.

Some valid points here. Ever since the show began there are always acts each year that are favoured by the producers, and that is the way the show works. A lot of people dont like it, but i doubt if it will ever change.

It is changing, people are not bothering to vote now and some are definitely not viewing because of the insincerity of the show.

Over 10 years of XF and all we get are Scowell's puppets with zilch XF on every show and in every big event. Olly Murs, 1D? Neither wonder people feel controlled and sickened by it all. Fleur is just the next puppet to join Scowell's set of promotional tools. Everyone who doesn't fit the mould is branded a 'flop'.

It's a real pleasure having a sensible debate with someone like your good self. As for the vile posts there are just too many to keep up with, so it's just better ot ignore it really. To be honest i prefer the Voice to Factor, as they allow more variety of contestants on there who sing different genres of music.

Like i have said i thought she was the best of what was a bad show last night. However i seriously can't see her winning.

Not enough of the public will vote for her. They all have this perception of a winner and she doesn't fit that mould

I have to say....Fleur is top 3 for me atm!!!! Loving her interactions with Andrea....priceless!!

But the performance wasnt a good one for me. ...she looked great, but sorry, you dont do rap within a big band theme....nah!! Her vocal at times got lost amongst the sound of the band. .....and after that. ..Simon announcing that shes possibly the winner, was borderline gameplaying...last week it was all about Stevie and his memorablr performance in X Factor history! !!
