The one in Stereo Kicks who can sing

Don't know his name, but you know the one I mean ... why did they put him in a band instead of letting him through as a solo act ?

He's better than most of them they did put through

I really feel sorry for him, the others members really pull him down.

I have been saying this for a couple of week snow.

James has one of the best male vocals of the series.

It seems so unfair.

I presume you're referring to finger pointer? Yes he's way too good to be in a group. He's the reason they're still here.

Didn't someone on here say that he was signed to somebody a couple of years ago? Maybe there would be problems with Syco signing him as a solo artist but could do as part of a band. I don't know how these things work so could be talking rubbish but I did also wonder whether that was Simon Cowell's problem with Paul (since Paul seems to have had a single that Syco had no claims to waiting to be released.)

The finger pointer? Not sure who that is but I bet this thread is referring to the guy with the tall hair; I think he also started the song off this week and sung most of it too.

He has a good voice i think he would have done well if he was chosen as a solo act

Yes the guy with the tall hair. He always points his finger upwards when he sings.

That's him

One of the best voices on the show

I just don't understand why they stuck him in that rubbish 'boy-band'

I liked SK this week.

They all have decent voices - they just need to be shown how to articulate properly.

He's been stuck in the boy band because he's a little off-putting looking and has no charisma to speak of. In the same way 1D were formed around Liam Payne, Stereo Kicks have been formed around him, at a guess.

The 'Yodeller' sounds well dodgy and there is a short lad who was on last year who is awful, most of the others are ok, young blond lad is good and James is excellent.

He would not have done well. He would have been fine in a normal group.

Thank god, ive been saying this for a couple of weeks, the one week they didnt let him do most of the singing they nearly went out, he should have been solo but i guess they need at least one powerful singer in a boy band, what puzzles me is that thats normally the less better looking one to back up the pretty boys, Shane Filan springs to mind but none of the others are particularly pretty so what are they bringing to the party

I assume you're talking about James Graham.

I don't think he would go far on his own, his look isn't cute/handsome, more like mad man face but with being in a group, he has higher chance to get noticed and you can always go solo if the group doesn't work out the first time so it's not bad to try ..

He doesn't seem to be likeable may be that's why

He's got a great voice but he doesn't seem to have enough charisma and isn't 'pretty' enough or unique enough to be a solo act.

I still think the problem with SK is that there are too many of them. IMO, the 3 who need to go are the two youngest ones and the Irish kid with big ears. The 5 left (James, Tom, Barclay, Casey and Jake) would make a much better balanced band

I had to laugh when Cowell made a big thing about OTY changing the lead voical saying it was brave....yet the octococks hand James the lead every week cos the others can't sing
