Kevin went to Ibiza with Frankie a couple of weeks ago and Alijaz used to travel to Birmingham all the time to rehearse with Alison, so I assume Karen is most likely packing for a trip to Tenerife!

Might get the sympathy vote, will be a good test of his share of the vote. Some middle rankers could be in trouble this week, especially as the show could be a little flat after the excitement of Blackpool.

Though the jivey bits of his QS were OK. It might hurt him but if I had to choose between his immoveable hips and his unmoveable left ankle joint, I'd rather the jive.

The problem with jive is that you do need a good bounce action and you need to be able to pick up the knees. Bouncing on the ball of the foot, is where you really utilise the ankle.If he has a problem here, he will feel it. None of the celebs use their ankles properly in QS - don't expect them to as its advanced dancing- so its easier to "fake" a reasonable QS.

He has done incredibly well - I can speak from personal experience having broken my ankle and 2 bones in that foot - its not easy, and he will feel discomfort. I would say of the 2 dances that you mention, Rumba would be a less painful option.However having said that, he would still be expected to tone and point feet and stretch the ankle. Ouch, can feel it now.

He also cocked up his Charleston, maybe his thinking about how his ankle would hold up had something to do with that, sorry to get all psychomological.

I think he's gone this week. Not sure about Jake either, getting the feeling he peaked early, not been impressed the last few weeks and Samba isn't easy.

Snake hips are back though .. don't underestimate those

Yep, it's Salsa, Charleston and Cha Cha Cha that are Pixie's remaining Latins.

There's a slight bias in favour of Ballroom thus far - so of the 3 remaining dances to be announced, 2 should be Latin and 1 Ballroom (getting an even split). If that's the case then it would make sense for Pixie to be on Ballroom with Frankie and Simon on Latin.

I cant wait to see Pixie's AT ......just had to put it out there. Im really hoping that she gets to do it.

Ooof - poor steve and his fused ankle with jive! All the more reason for Ola to put in a load of knee slides!

edit: I really want Jake to do argentine tango... on SCD it's all about the acting and the lifts. He's got to get it after samba, surely! I don't know if his snake hips will help him out much in samba. It's a very specific way of moving the hips and body - not just side to side.

Feel worried for Steve. Samba or even the rumba would have been better latins for him.

rumba probably would have been best, even if it is a dance of death. He could have been all soft and lovey with Ola - showing that he can do more than the angry paso thing, plus help dispel the rumours about them not getting on by replacing them with rumours of THE STRICTLY CURSE haha.

Unless of course it came out in an angry Paso style and Ola ends up accidentally crushed between his thighs
