4 days

I might be being daft here. But on ITT they keep going on about only having 4 days to learn a dance.

Now if im right that the results show is filmed on saturday wouldnt they start learning some of the new dance sunday (also allowing that quite a few people have mentioned that they havent had any days off) that would give them sun, mon, tue, wed, thurs, fri and some of sat to learn and practice the dance.

Am I missing something very obvious.

erm I thought they start training on sunday but maybe they don't. But it's like the studio rehearsals on friday. So they only have mon-thurs or sunday-thurs to learn the dances

Sunday tends to be a day off for everyone, otherwise they'd be doing a seven day week. I doubt professional performers do that.

So they plan and rehearse Monday to Thursday before having the camera 'run' on Friday, so they have to ready for that.

They have a day off on Sunday.

The professionals train together for most of Monday, so most couples will get Monday late afternoon/evening to train. Then there's Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday they have the studio rehearsals, where they rehearse in front of the cameras for the first time, so their routine should be put together by then. So it's technically three and a half days.

In years gone by plenty of the celebs used to start training on Sundays, particularly in the later stages of the competition. But Sunday is also a choreography day for the pros, so even if they did train then it would only be for a few hours.

The pros rehearse on Monday mornings so it's Monday afternoon before the celebs get a chance to train.

I wish they published the training hours figures like they used to - I'd be very surprised if the celebs now train as much as those in previous series.

The vid I saw of Ola recently showed her using Sunday to choreograph the next routine before presenting it to her celeb on Monday.

I know Harry and Aliona trained on Sunday's

Personal choice I guess, I would imagine pros/celebs need a rest day but if you have a celeb that doesn't want one..........

Ah that makes sense. I had always thought the pro would have an idea of what chorography they would do prior to the Sunday.

I'm quite new to watching strictly so some of the "obvious" things have completely passed me by.
