So who do you think does the best choreography out of the Pro's?

I must admit I love Kevin's work its very west end, theatrical, very entertaining. Trent, another new boy, I think has added some great routines at a really intense pace packed with drama. Jeanette has had some stand out routines and so trusting in her partner, last night I was spellbound by the story within the dance. And Kristina is always brilliant at at AT. I think Karen has done well with Mark but her routine last night left me cold, he could have done much more. Anton is of course using an array of skills specialist to him X

I think Kevin's is the best, for me. I think Anton doesn't really get a chance to show us what he is capable of - I did think when he got Judy this this was going to be his chance to shine, but unfortunately he has to rely on fairly pedestrian comedy. We know he certainly CAN dance, and I hope next year he gets the opportunity.
It could be of course that her prefers the more difficult partners?

It wasn't her routine, the Charlestons are done by specialist choreographers, not the pros - they'll just ask for things to be changed if they're not working. Similarly the vast bulk if not all of the AT choreography you're praising Kristina so highly for won't have been done by her.

I think Karen's done a decent job this year, and was brilliant with her choreography for Dave last year. She wasn't great with Nicky though, but it seems to me that she just needed some time to get into her stride.

I have a love/hate relationship with Kevin's choreography. Sometimes it's brilliant, such when he managed to make something that vaguely resembled a Tango out of Defying Gravity, and other times it's terrible, like the kitchen sink Samba that was far too jam-packed for the limited rehearsal time Frankie had that week.

Ola's always been great at choreographing to her partner's strengths, even if the end result is a bit samey. Anton used to be good at that too but his choreography this series has been dire.

I think Aliona and Janette are also good at playing to their partner's strengths and not being afraid to take risks, and Alijaz and Pasha are generally great choreographers, though Pasha is sometimes a bit over-ambitious. I'm not a huge fan of Iveta in general, but I don't think she's had any huge choreography nightmares yet.

Brendan's hit and miss and of course was the original rule-breaker. I find Kristina's choreography a bit too frantic at times - last week's Quickstep was a prime example. Tristan's choreography I can't really judge yet, but let's see how he does with Rachel on the Christmas Special. Similarly I don't think we can really judge Joanne yet. Trent I'm not hugely impressed with - some of what he's done is great, but he's also ruined great dances (the ending of their Paso was abysmal and the faffing around at the start of the Foxtrot was just unnecessary and a bit clumsy).

So that leaves my favourite choreographer - Natalie. I think she's brilliant, particularly of course in ballroom but she's done some decent Latin choreography as well. And on top of that she's an excellent teacher and a sublime dancer

I'd probably say Trent but then he has Pixie to choreograph for .. she's practically a pro so there's no holding back.

I haven't seen a routine that Trent choreograped that I haven't like so he is definitely at the top for me.

I loved Kevin's tango and Paso choreography.
I love Brendan ballroom.

I really enjoyed Iveta's foxtrot routine.

I really loved Anya last series as well - she choreographed some brill routines for Patrick. I miss her this series!

This series? Probably Trent.
He has been very impressive imo. He choreographs proper dances rather than flashy stuff that showcases his own talents. Mind you, he's been lucky with his celeb.

Aljaz choreographs well - he's also a beautiful dancer. Natalie - ditto.

Kristina can choreograph but is too prone to rely on the old "treat the celeb as a pole and wind myself round him" routine.

Brendan usually choreographs decent ballroom but his Latin leaves a bit to be desired.

Pasha can go a bit mad with packing the kitchen sink into a routine but when he gets it right, it's great.

I was no fan of James but he was good at putting together a coherent routine that showed what his celeb could do without highlighting what they definitely couldn't.

Enjoying Trent's the most this year too.

Re Karen, her choreography isn't appealing to me at all. So much of her and Mark's dances are on the spot, theres hardly any movement across the floor. It works fine for something like a jive, but their quickstep for example was more than half on the spot. The rest was extremely simple and literally just trotting around. I don't know whether this is just how she likes to choreograph, or that its due to Mark's limitations.

Trent's choreography has been the one outstanding feature of this year's show for me . Of course he's lucky to have such a capable partner .

Kristina got help from two AT specialists in choreographing her routine .

Trent's is great - helps he has a partner that he can challenge and do it justice. He's a great addition and is a classic ballroom dancer.

Brendan's ballroom especially the VW is always impressive.

For the ladies, definitely Natalie. She seems to be able to choreograph routines fur all abilities

Love Trent's choreography. I suppose it helps to have a partner of Pixie's ability but so far I've really enjoyed watching them each week. I hope he is back next year.

Kevin, Brendan, Trent, Natalie and Pasha are the best.

Ola, Janette and Robin are the worse.

Anton is pretty good actually, considering he always get the worst celeb, he always manages to get at least something decent out of them in the end. Apart from the revolting old bag Widdecombe.

I don't know if Trent would be so good, if he got a middle aged, overweight person who had never dance before though.


I think that as his partner is a pro, anyone could choreograph good routines for her.
