I don't know about the standard being higher, but I've noticed there have been less "middle grounders" this year, those who aren't rubbish but are never going to win imo (Sunetra, Steve & Thom) All the rest have shown enough potential to say they possibly could win or been complete rubbish imo. Honestly between Scott, Judy, Gregg and maybe Tim any of them could have gone in the first week in previous seasons imo.
